looks like a dupe from Bug 105725

i'm too using slackware, even rebuild kernels are based on the default
slackware kernel .config file

full dmesg log

With kernel 4.16.2 and mesa 18.0 i get the attach oops when booting on a Asus
RX480. With kernel 4.15.x i also had the same (or similar) oops.

Other than the kernel dmesg, i do not see any problem, even fan and cpu
temperature are reported by the sensors command
