Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It seems we fixed the DSpace 6.x
LDAP configuration documentation to give examples with escaped commas (\,),
but we neglected to highlight those changes.  I've just updated the LDAP

I compile my code  locally and then copy  the compiled code over to the prod/qa 
vm, where I then run ant update
