The first item in the list has one.

https://repository.library.georgetown.edu/handle/10822/1053091

You can look at the full item record to see how we added the orcid.

That is an important detail that I did not include. We do not use the lookup
tool. We key in the ORCID in the "identifier" box or we pull it in from
ProQuest.

If you look at one of our ETD collections, you will see that some items have a
linked ORCID. https://repository.library.georgetown.edu/handle/10822/761431

DSpace's ORCID integration, the ORCID appears only as a text string within the
authentication key. Assuming an article has only one author, will the ORCID
actually appear in that field? Or is additional customization necessary?

We have placed this field in dc.identifier.orcid and we modified our theme
to display that field as a hyperlink to the ORCID website.

This works reasonably well for items with only one author. Since the
majority of our content with ORCID's are ETD's, this works for us.

2019-05-14 Thread Vinicius Assef
Hi there.

I'm working in some tests with DSpace 6.3 in a local VM and I'd like to
compile only solr and jspui.

How could I get that?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [dspace-tech] Google groups issue accessing dspace-tech

2019-05-14 Thread Tim Donohue
Hi Tony,

Thanks for reporting this! Google Groups recently had a major upgrade, and
it seems they modified some of the default settings during that upgrade
which affected the ability to see/search all our DSpace Mailing Lists [1]
anonymously. I've now updated the permissions so that these mailing lists
should all again be publicly searchable/browsable (though you still must
signup to the list before you can send email/post).

So, it should work again now! https://groups.google.com/d/forum/dspace-tech

[dspace-tech] Shibboleth Login Issue DSpace 6.3

2019-05-14 Thread Jeff Stone
Hello All,

I have followed all the documentation I can to setup shibboleth
authentication with Dspace. The Shibboleth SP is installed, I can see the
attributes that I need and when I have logged in, it does create a eperson
record, but when logging in they are hit with a Single Sign Out feature is
not implemented.

I have turned on DEBUG and the following is shown :

 DEBUG org.dspace.authenticate.ShibAuthentication @ Updated the eperson's

Re: [dspace-tech] INPUT FORM - DROP DOWN LIST

2019-05-14 Thread Gonzalo Villegas
Hello
When I get to where I have to load the type of CC license, the form behaves
the way I want, that is, if I choose a CC license, the items related to the
CC license appear, but if I choose another type of license, the related
items to CC license do not appear.
That is the kind of behavior I want to achieve.
I attach the images that illustrate what I say
in the item1 image, the CC license type is still not selected, as soon as I
choose the CC license, certain fields appear to load data. that is shown in
the image item2
Thank you
Gonzalo

[dspace-tech] Google groups issue accessing dspace-tech

2019-05-14 Thread Tony Brian Albers
Is anyone else having issues searchin/vieweing dspace-tech through
google groups?

If I search for something, I get:

"This group either doesn't exist, or you don't have permission to
access it. If you're sure this group exists, contact the Owner of the
group and ask them to give you access.
Reload"

Which is odd since I can receive and send mails using this account that
I'm sending from now.

/tony
