[dspace-tech] Re: LDAP authentication login page Problem

2022-03-04 Thread Benedito Gomes Vieira
Good afternoon.

Here we also had problems getting the Dspace configuration right with LDAP.

In the authentication.cfg file, uncomment:
plugin.sequence.org.dspace.authenticate.AuthenticationMethod =
org.dspace.authenticate.LDAPAuthentication

In the authentication-ldap.cfg file:

authentication-ldap.enable = true
authentication-ldap.autoregister = false
authentication-ldap.provider_url = ldap://xxx..edu.br:389/
authentication-ldap.id_field = uid
authentication-ldap.object_context = dc=xx\,dc=edu\,dc=br
authentication-ldap.search_context = ou=people\,dc=xx\,dc=edu\,dc=br
authentication-ldap.email_field = mail
authentication-ldap.givenname_field = givenName
authentication-ldap.phone_field = telephoneNumber
authentication-ldap.search_scope = 2
authentication-ldap.search.anonymous = true

This configuration depends on how LDAP was set up at the institution.

restart the Tom Cat and try.

Hi Lewatle,

yes this is possible, the functionality is called "Item Mapper". It is

See

https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/Mapping+Items
