Hello Peter and András This correspond to Jira ticket DS-1134 Multilingual metadata for communities/collections. It was closed when Dspace 5 included metadata for collections and communities, but as Claudia points out, there is no code avalilable. We have code for Dspace 5 XMLUI (https://runa.sergas.gal, and some others repos) but since there are no general avaliability for testing and approving commits for old versions, except errors or security issues (everybody is focused on V7) we decided not to publish it. Let me know if the version is suitable for you and we provide you with a patch... Hello Peter, yes, e.g. the name of a collection/community is in terms of metadata values a dc.title, the description an abstract and so on. At the moment no language qualifier is set for the metadata and there is no possibility to add multi language meta information via the UI. But this would be the starting point to i18n the meta information about communities and collections. Hello Peter, no there is no out of the box way to do this. But the change having metadata for all objects will make it easier to do. As the metadata got language qualifiers.
