[Dspace-tech] Clustering of Dspace servers

I was told Dspace does not respond well to software clustering of servers
but is OK with hardware clustering. If we want a high availabilty
application in Dspace what is the recommended configuration for the servers

[Dspace-tech] Hardware configuration of Server

We are creating a Dspace repository of Parliamentary debates. We have about
8,00,000 records and use RHEL 5 and Dspace version 1.4.2
Can you suggest an ideal configuration (hardware) for the Server. Please
note repository will be stored on SAN?
