Viime perjantain ilmestyi Olli Jalosen romaani Miehiä ja ihmisiä. Se kertoo kesästä 1972 ja siinä vilahtelevat sekä DX-kuuntelu että silloiset kotimaiset merirosvoradiot. En ole lukenut, mutta tulen ostamaan itselleni. Saattaa olla, että vilahdan itsekin jossain sivuhahmossa silloisten kesäkokousten ja TreDXK - HäDXK tapaamisten puitteissa. Kauppalehden kriitikko kuvaa romaania tiukaksi kuin silloisten farkkujen lahkeet. Se kriitikko ei tiedä, mistä kirjoittaa. Kesällä 1972 farkkujen lahkeet olivat kellomaisen leveät. Kiitoksia kiitoksista Simon, Pasin ja itseni ynnä Erkki Paateron ja muiden 1950- ja 60-luvun jäsenten .panosten puolesta, jotka potkaisivat digitointiprojektin käyntiin. Lehtiä on skannattu ja tarkistettu vuoteen 1977 asti (pieni gappi 1964-65 täyttyy muutaman päivän sisällä), mutta Liittohallitus miettii vielä tekijänoikeusongelmia ennen uudempien lehtien julkistamista. Lehtiarkistosta löytyy kirjailijana elämäntyönsä tehnyt Tim Mukka, Orajärvi, joka liittyi samaan aikaan kuin minä keväällä 1959 jäsennumerolla 192. Toistaiseksi privaattina pidettävän oman arkistoni mukaan Olli Jalonen on paljon nuorempaa porukkaa, hämeenlinnalaisen jäsennumeroksi tuli 1444 vuoden 1970 alussa. Kuten Pasi on kuulutellut, apuvoima lehtien skannaukseen ja ocr-tekstin tarkistukseen on tervetullutta. Painoasultaan epäselvimmät lehdet alkavat olla valmiita, joten ocr-tekstin korjaus ei enää ole niin työlästä kuin moniste- ja ensimmäisissä offset-lehdissä.
