Re: [HCDX] R Rossii ceased Reg on SW?

2012-01-04 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev

Karel,

The point is that we are on traditional New Year holiday here in
Russia from Dec 31 till Jan 9. All regional programs will be on the
air again starting from Jan 10...

RUSSIA
It is perhaps a too strong assertion from me but it really looks
like Radio Rossii ceased regional programs relayed on shortwaves at
the end of 2011. During the first week of January I failed to hear
at least one of those transmissions I heard in December. That is why
I compiled a detailed list of all regional programs on SW (acc. to
WRTH 2012) grafically into a table and started to check specific
frequencies. Here are few examples of my results:

Magadan 5940+7320 kHz - no Reg at 2200 UTC (scheduled)
Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy 6075 kHz - no Reg at 0610 and 1800
(scheduled)
Krasnoyarsk 6085 kHz - no Reg at 2310 (scheduled)
Arkhangelsk 6160 kHz - no Reg at 0910 and 1410 (heard in December)
Ulan Ude 6195 kHz - no Reg at 2110 and 2210 (scheduled)
Yakutsk 7230 kHz - no Reg at 0810 (heard in December)

There are always relays of Radio Rossii (EUR version or Duble
versions for Far East) at those time scheduled for regional
programs. I have found out that this year (2012) I have not heard
any R.R. regional program on SW yet. Maybe some of our Russian
friends are able to confirm or deny it. It is a pity if it is true.

Re: [HCDX] Fw: [INTRUDER ALERT] Golos Rossiye (= Voice of Russia) on 7200 kHz 0800- 1500 UTC

2011-02-04 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev

Some questions...

What's the problem if 7200 kHz will be in our schedule during two last
months of B10? HAMs have 195 kHz at least for their SSB/CW operation
during these daylight hours here in Europe, and that is not enough?

Maybe I am under a delusion, but 41 broadcasting m.b. starts from 7200
kHz, or still from 7205 kHz?

Re: Golos Rossiye (= Voice of Russia) on 7200 kHz 0800 - 1500 UTC

Dear Intruder Busters worldwide,
DARC MONITORING SYSTEM is now 100 % sure about the origin of the
new intruder on 7200 kHz:

This morning sign on was at 0800 UTC. Some 15 minutes before
there was a carrier with measuring tone.
Time pips were 2 seconds too late!
The announcement clearly was:-

*** GOLOS ROSSIYE ***

which means

*** The Voice of Russia ***

The location of the tx-er is St. Petersburg, and the program is
from 0800 - 1500 UTC.

Will you please inform your National telecoms. authorities to take
action.

Thank you for your good work and good luck
yours,
Ulrich Bihlmayer DJ9KR
Vice Coordinator of IARU MonSys Region 1
Coordinator of DARC Monitoring System Intruder Watch

[HCDX] Radio Rossii broadcasting reduction on SW. Part II

2010-03-31 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev
Last minute info: almost all Radio Rossi relays on SW do not stop
starting from March 31st (1700 UTC) as I wrote yearier. These relays
includes:

5930 0100-2100 50 RV-790 Murmansk
5940 1700-1300 100 RV-1001 Magadan
6075 1700-1300 100 RV-658 Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
6085 2100-1700 50 RV-98 Krasnoyarsk
6100 2100-1700 5 Kyzyl
6160 0100-2100 2x20 RV-300+RV-297 Arkhangelsk
6195 2100-1700 50 RV-44 Ulan Ude
7320 1700-1300 100 RV-647 Magadan

Also Moscow's Radio Rossii relays to Europe on 12070/13665/9410/7220
kHz by sessions between 0100 and 2100 will be continued.

It seems 65th anniversary celebrations of Victory in the Great
Patiotic War is the main reason to keep SW relays till this date at
least...

[HCDX] Radio Rossii broadcasting reductions on SW

2010-03-27 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev

It is not Radio Sweden, but nevertheless lamentably...

It seems some of Radio Rossii SW transmitters will leave
the air for good starting tomorrow due to stress of money.

I do not have all info yet but among these for a long time
usable ones will be:
5930 Murmansk (0100-2100 UTC during the summer seasons),
6085 Krasnoyarsk (2100-1700),
6160 Arkhangelsk (0100-2100),
6195 Ulan Ude (2100-0100), etc.

I am listening now Radio Rossii on 5930 kHz and cannot
still believe that March 27, 2010 will be the last day of SW
relays from Murmansk...

Mikhail

Re: [HCDX] Some observations from Saint-Petersburg in Russia: 6027

2009-02-18 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev
Thanks for this info. My first observation was on Dec 13
as follows:

6027.0 1202-1216 MLA RTM Kuala Lumpur (tent.). 13/12,
mostly Malay-like YL/OM talks with short musical pauses –
poor, splashes from 6030 (CNR)

Will try to identify this spurs on the next week with
my new old soviet communication receiver called R-326
(of course, if the propagation at 1200-1300 UTC will
make it possible)...

Re: [HCDX] St. Petersburg Regional Center

2008-12-20 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev

Dear Bill,

yes, we verify all correct reception reports - but, of course, for
our transmitters only (that located in St.Petersburg and
Leningradskaya oblast).

Regarding RTRN regional web sites: many of them (including
St.Petersburg's one) will be out of use approx. till Dec 31st because
of the technical works with new servers in Moscow...

Re: [HCDX] Special EDXC transmission

2006-10-21 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev
Thanks, Anton and Ronny, for your comments.

I am sorry that my we do not verify reports for this transmission is
really too peremptory...

Unfortunately, I really do not have any time now to confirm these
reports (even by e-mail). On the other hand, I would like to publish
our QSL card to the end of this year - but first of all I am planning
to confirm most of the old receptions reports (for last some years)
for our St.Petersbrug and (I hope) our former Kaliningrad locations.
A lot of new reports (and time that will require for them) will make
my goal too difficult...

I do not know about any plans for EDXC St.Petersburg 2006 special QSL
card from other sources yet - maybe our St.Petersburg DX Club could
help? In any case, we can know about it later this month after
special announcement, or not...

Our special program was already recorded on Friday evening in the
studio of Radio Gardarika located in the very popular St.Petersbrug
night club called Metro. There are two parts of this talk-show
including English one with Alexander Beryezkin (EDXC 2006 organizer),
Anker Petersen (EDXC Auditor) and Tibor Szilagyi (EDXC Secretary
general) and Russian one with Valentina Jolkver-Krasnopolskaya (DW),
Vadim Alexeyev (VOR) and me (only some words).

Thanks.

DAJK It is acceptable that the transmitter facility people cannot afford time
DAJK and effort to verify reception reports. However, it is not acceptable at

DAJK provider) does not show any commitment to serve the DX community.

DAJK This very behaviour has been highly criticized also in the German

DAJK It strongly proves that the EDXC fully has forgotten what its purpose

As this transmission obviously is intended for the DX community, and you

This one is probably CNR5 Beijing starting from 0955 to 2200. It has two //
channels including 5925 and 7620 that can help to identify...

CNR5 is audible here in St.Petersburg on 9410 under BBCWS in the local
evenings.

I have an UNID Chineses language station logged
yesterday morning on 9410 from 1158 until well past
1230 UTC. Recent logs from other DXers show Fu Hsing
Broadcasting Station, Taiwan here at this time. But,
the HFCC A06 schedule says China Radio International.

Below is a 2 1/2 minute audio clip of top-of-the-hour
announcements. If anyone can listen and help me
identify this, it would be most appreciated:

I am not sure if this station is really Sawt Al-Amal as their tentative ID
as Izaatul jumhuriyati .. (third word is too crabbed - maybe Akhbar?).

Special Radio is an international corporate Internet project of musicians
and contemporary art activists.Special Radio was organized on December 1,
2001 by a group of Russian independent music publishers’ representatives.
Special Radio is a unique project in the sphere of Internet radio: radio
broadcast time is more than 30,000 hours. Freedom of music choice offered
by Special Radio to its audience can’t be compared with any other radio
station. No FM radio station can offer such variety of music material.
Radio music content is formatted to different channels (buttons) and
consists of stream broadcast of 32 audio and 5 video channels. Besides 2
channels content which can be presented on FM stations, there are 13 channels
which have no analogs and are really impossible on FM radio stations.
Special Radio is the only radio which works with Russian and foreign musicians
regardless of their career success in other mass media. Special Radio program
is composed by musicians who offer their tracks for rotation.
Special Radio is the largest center of music of different styles in Russia.
Besides Internet, Special Radio programs are relayed in 7 European countries,
10 Asian countries, Brazil, the USA and Canada. Special Radio daily audience
is more than million people.
Every day 10,000 people visit the site.

St.Petersburg (SIO-555/554) - but no any information about the
transmitter location yet (maybe via Krasnodar or Ekaterinburg).

 C H I N A

Very strong signals of China Radio International (CRI) in English noted
 this morning (9
 JUNE 2004) on 17490 and 17650 kHz.

Both frequencies have been already reported (17490 testing since last days
 of May), now it
seems like regular operation of both transmitters.

Great signals of S9 + 30 dB here in the middle of Europe while listening
 between 0410-0930
 UTC...

From 0800 UTC they relay CRI 91.5 FM (Beijing) and often mention this
frequency.

[HCDX] Russian International Radio

2003-07-15 Thread Mikhail Timofeyev
Starting from this afternoon a new Russian broadcaster (program) is on the
air. Unfortunately, I do not remember their exact mediumwave schedule via
our high-power transmitters (I will define it tomorrow), but here are some
details (UTC):

1215 kHz 1900-2100
1386 kHz 1900-2000 or 2000-2100
1494 kHz 1500-1700
1494 kHz 2000-2100 (starting from August 10)

Just checked them at 1500 on 1494 kHz: news at the beginning, ID at 1504
as Russkoye Mezhdunarodnoye Radio - Rossiya vsegda s toboi (= Russian
International Radio - Russia is always with you), a lot of Russian modern
lyric pop songs, at 1518 they announced their schedule as 1600-0100 Moscow
time (=1200-2100 UTC). I could not find any // SW frequencies during my
short monitoring at beginning of the hour.

My friend Alexander Beryozkin (he is a well known Russian DXer from
St.Petersburg too) just informed me that Russian International Radio is a
joint project of our Voice of Russia and our Russkoye Radio (latest one is a
world's biggest FM network including more that 700 local FM transmitters
here in Russian and in the CIS).

No any information about their postal/e-mail addresses yet.

If you will check any of these MW frequencies please send me a copy of your
possible future messages to any DX electronic lists...
