[DX] Radio Helmi 88,6 MHz

Olen useinkin ihmetellyt ns. paikallisradioiden surkeaa äänenlaatua ja todella 
suurta kompressiotasoa.

Nyt ihmettelen Radio HELMIn (Helsinki) ihmeellistä FFT-spektriä: 88,6 MHz 
keskeistaajuus näyttää vaihtelevan, mutta lähetespektri on reilusti 
oikeanpuoleinen, keskeistaajuus jotain 88,6315 MHz. Normaalisti FM-aseman 
suurin FFT-kenttävoimakkuus on keskellä, nyt välillä näkyy ikään kuin kaksi eri 
voimakasta tasoa keskeistaajuuden kummallakin puolella, siis minimi keskellä. 
Studio 1:n FFT-näytössä ko. taajuuden oikealla puolella esiintyy myös usein 
joku ko. aseman harhatoisto, kuin pieni sweep edestakaisin ja yltää 
parhaimmillaan 88,745 kHz taajuudella saakka. Kapealla 60 kHz kaistalla tätä 
kuunnellessa on kuin aseman lähete "viuhahtaisi" jaksoittaisesti ohitse vähän 
väliä.

Henkilökuntaa ei siis näy riittävän oman lähetteen monitorointiin - ja tässä en 
ryhdy arvioimaan ohjelmien tason laatua. Kait nykyisellä elektroniikalla saa 
tällaistakin aikaan - "ihan uusi radiokanava".
