Re: [DX-CHAT] Olivia
The soundcard cowboys strike again I'm not against using the soundcard and pc for communication on the cheap, but don't we have enough MFSK modes already? And it doesn't seem particularly efficient to me. Rich, N8UX. RE: [DX-CHAT] QSL'ing JT1CO
Edward, The thinking is those from the US mailing to just Mongolia get routed through Russia and many dont make it to their intended recipient. Sending it to Mongolia via Japan seems to be a safer route. I personally have had success via Japan! I have been successful without the via Japan part-received a card back from JT1CN (not CO) in less than 1 month with just Mongolia. Didn't know they got routed through Russia, but I guess it makes sense. If I ever had a problem with a Mongolia QSL, I always resent to JT1CS(Bat) via Japan. Worked every time. I think JT1CS knows every ham in Mongolia. 73 Russ W4UBC - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx-chat@njdxa.org Sent: Wednesday, November 30, 2005 5:08 PM Subject: Re: [DX-CHAT] QSL'ing JT1CO I have been successful without the via Japan part-received a card back from JT1CN (not CO) in less than 1 month with just Mongolia.
