ARRL DXCC needs to state their position. John Owens - N7TK John, You have mixed up things. E7 is new prefix for Bosnia and Herzegovina which was officially launched yesterday at 2300UTC (today, local time). At this moment only two and three letter licenses were issued and end date for submitting one letter applications is 14. April 2008... At the same time T9 callsigns are valid until changed into E7 or until end of 2008. All of this is happening in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has nothing to do with Kosovo. 73's Boris E73TW (ex. Dear DX'ers After ST0RM license expired, Jovica T98A (ex. T94FC) will continue activity from Sudan with his new callsign - ST2A. Re: [DX-CHAT] Whither Bosnia?
Ron and others, YU4 QSO from 1998 can not be counted as Bosnia and Herzegovina because the only official prefix block this country have since May 1993 is T9A-T9Z. YU4 guys ARE located in Bosnia and Herzegovina but they can not be counted as Bosnia and Herzegovina because they are using callsigns which belong to Yugoslavia. At the same time they can not be counted as Yugoslavia because their callsigns need to reflect geographical location which is, in this case, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Whole situation is much more complicated it would take much more space to elaborate what is really going on over here. I hope that responsible people will solve this problem before our hobby die in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 73's Boris T93Y At 04:32 25-01-2004, Ron Notarius WN3VAW wrote: Thanks all; it counts for Bosnia. Re: [DX-CHAT] best dx-ped
What about all those DXpedition of the year and DXer of the year awards given in the previous years? Are they all bad or just particular one where everybody can give a vote? BTW, I think those awards are not making any negative impact on DXpeditioners because people going on DXpeditions are not doing it for that kind of recognition... 73's Boris T93Y At 20:00 13-01-2004, you wrote: litwins (K8WK) wrote: Some group is soliciting opinions as to which dx-ped is the best. A group of DXers plans a DXpedition, goes out there (often at their own expense), and gives the DX community a new one. Then to be judged creates disappointment and next time why bother. No doubt these soliciters have nothing better to do than sit on their fat butts and make unfair judgements. 73 de John N6JM Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX related items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is the DX-CHAT reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org --- Boris Knezovic T93Y, P.O.
