Re: [DX-CHAT] Re: N8S Online Logs

2007-04-06 Thread John - WB8RFB
Is it even remotely possible that the post about
on-line logs came from someone new to DX'ing who was
simply asking a question that he/she didn't know the
answer to?

I think it's time for all of us to dig out our old
ARRL Handbooks and reread the Amateur's Code printed
therein.

Re: [DX-CHAT] EA6UN QSL's

2006-04-17 Thread John - WB8RFB
It's really sad when a person "advertises" their
willingness to QSL and then doesn't follow through.

This is what I found on QRZ.com today:

EA6UN Lookups: 20145
Jurek
QSL via EC6TK with SAE + 3 us $ (Direct Only)

BALEARIC ISLANDS - SPAIN

That's a tidy sum in anyone's book if only 10% of the
lookups on QRZ fired off a card and green stamps.

[DX-CHAT] EA6UN QSL's

2006-04-17 Thread John - WB8RFB
Does anyone have e-mail address for him? I'm trying
to follow-up on a direct QSL request sent to him from
2004.

Thanks.

Re: [DX-CHAT] V51AS

2006-04-13 Thread John - WB8RFB
My direct QSL with GS's and SAE sent on 29/3/04 was
answered via the bureau 20/9/2004.

Hello DX-chat,
Gents, what one should do to get a card from V51AS?
Looks like this guy believes 2 USD is not enough
for him, so my second direct request is unanswered.
Nayone had luck with him lately?

[DX-CHAT] ZK1APX QSL Route?

2004-09-28 Thread John - WB8RFB
Hello again,

I supposedly worked a ZK1APX on 17 meters this morning
but neither QRZ.COM nor Buckmaster's websites have any
kind of route.

Any ideas?

Thanks again.

Sorry - was too quick on the trigger. I found the
route via IK3QAR's website.

My apologies.

[DX-CHAT] QSL Route for FP/DK8XT?

2004-09-24 Thread John - WB8RFB
I tried looking up a QSL route to Martin on QRZ.Com
and other web pages but nothing is coming up with an
address.

Even tried a Google search with no address
coming back. I did find a webpage with a facsimile of
his OX/DK8XT operation, but again, I can't seem to
find any direct route to QSL.

Any help from out there in DX-land?

Thanks.

[DX-CHAT] Status of T33C QSL cards?

2004-09-20 Thread John - WB8RFB
Does anyone know how I might contact the T33C folks to
see if they received my QSL card & GS's that I sent
back in June? Still haven't received a QSL back from
them yet.

Any help would be appreciated. Am new at DX'ing
despite being licensed for a long time.

Thanks,
