Hi DX-ers

Have anybody heard about the status of this expedition? 3B6SP WEB site
contains no new information, the last news release is dated June 1st.

According to published schedule they should be operating by now.

I wonder if Cyclone Gonu affecting them. Perhaps they are far away from this
weather system.

I asked SP5ELA Zygi-san about 3B6SP-2007 and the reply was as follows;

Hi yosi
One of 2 engines on expeditions ship failed.
They are moving 3MPH only. Situation is bad.
They are closest to St. Brandon.
60K$ for expencions can be for nothing...

regards   73, Zygi SP5ELA

Unfortunately, it seems the DX-pedition will be cancelled, and I guess
the team has no license of 3B7/St. Brandon island opeartion.

They were spotted on 80 a few hours ago, but nada here at sunset (around
2200z). Their license is for December 1st to 31st, supposedly, so I'm not
convinced that any Q's they did make before z on the 1st would be good
anyway. Maybe that was just ol' Slim havin' some fun!

The 1st VU7 spot was: DL7AYM   3503.0  VU7LD 1936z 30-Nov.

Their VU7LD license is for December 1st to 31st by local time.
It means from 18:30z December 1st to 18:30z 31st.
It's just like VU4-2004 was.

I think I owe you an apology, because I'm not so good at English
and I may have wrong understanding about the rules.

Anyone know if my word of 3B7/St.Brandon status is correct or not?

I'm not good at geography and have no idea how many new entity

in Indian ocean.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cargados_Carajos_Shoals

Their QTH (approx);
3B8/Port Luois:  20.10'S / 057.30'E
3B6:  10.25'S / 056.35'E
3B7:  16.48'S / 059.33'E
