Re: [DX-CHAT] LOTW cannot possibly catch up
Might want to consider creating a filter for the thread? Maybe filter out any messages with LoTW in the subject field ;) 73, Mike, K2CD Mike(W5UC) Kathy (K5MWH) wrote: All of us on this reflector are painfully aware that LoTW has a problem, Additionally we all have seen this discussion go on ad nausium. All of us are concerned about the problem. None of this is new NEWS. So far I have told you nothing new. The complaining goes on on, and accomplishes nothing. SO, please let me ask; what do the complainers expect to accomplish by continuing to kick this horse? If you just like to hear yourself complain, please, just send the e-mails to yourself, and spare the rest of us from having to deal with all of the superfluous BS. 73, Mike, W5UC --- To unsubscribe or subscribe to this list. Re: [DX-CHAT] Internet/Cluster Question
These are the best routers I have ever owned. They are still available new. When they made the dumbed down model they renamed the good one WRT54GL (L for Linux firmware). You can get them on newegg.com. . . I just checked and they're in stock for 49.95 with free shipping. Fully compatible with DD-WRT, Tomato, etc. . . I installed the DD-WRT firmware on it with good results (http://www.dd-wrt.com). Linksys no longer makes this model, but it may be available on the secondary market (eBay, etc.) --- To unsubscribe or subscribe to this list. Re: [DX-CHAT] Update: Are your HK0NA contacts missing from the online log?
Update from N2OO. Very good news for those who were missing some difficult band/modes. . . Late news!! I just heard from the island, and they have found many of the missing logs. They should show up in the next online log upload which I expect later today (SUNDAY). Will advise. PSE QRX!! 73/DX, Mike, K2CD --- To unsubscribe or subscribe to this list. Re: [DX-CHAT] Are your HK0NA CW contacts showing up in the online log?
Thanks for the replies, guys. Jay, the dates were the 24th and one early on the 25th. It seems other Ops are missing Qs in this time frame as well. Glad to see it isn't just me. I'll hold off on trying to rework them as it's just band fills now, and I'm sure others still need them for a brand new one. 73 es gl, Mike, K2CD --- To unsubscribe or subscribe to this list. [DX-CHAT] LoTW Servers Down?
Anyone else getting a fatal error message from the Logbook of the World server? I keep getting the following response: Fatal error: initializeLOTWDB: -709 - CONNECT: (protocol error): General database error [initializeLOTWDB: -709 - CONNECT: (protocol error)] This is happening in a web browser and also from within DXLab on another computer.
