Worked AP2ZA on 20M just now; he said that G4KUX/YA was active for about 30 minutes today. G4KUX/YA was building a dipole and should be active on 10M beginning 1200Z. That's all I know...gl.

[DX-NEWS] po box
To all please be reminded that my old po box 929 address will totally cease operation as of April 2002. Currently I have a forwarding service on it up till then. The new po address is P.O. Box 1343, Maroochydore, 4558 Australia It takes approx 4 weeks for mail to be forwarded from the old address. I would appreciate it if this was spread far and wide to ensure that there are no problems with qsling turnarounds etc. --- Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems, etc DX-NEWS http://njdxa.org/dx-news DX-CHAT: http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/
Re: [DX-NEWS] IRCs
Folks, According to the postman in my Local Post Office, the old IRCs wil be exchanged 'forever', or better say until further notice. Meanwhile the new ones are on sale here in Canada. There are few observable differences: 1, It is big (post card size) 2. It has expiry date (December 31,2006) 3. It has barcode (and probably serial number) 4. It has the left stamp box optional 5. It has form number CN 01. The price is the same as for the Old IRC. 73 Nenad === Snail Mail : Nenad Stevanovic ( VE3EXY ) P.O.Box: 65046 Nepean, On, K2G 5Y3 C A N A D A E-MAIL: [EMAIL PROTECTED] PERSONAL URL : http://www.magma.ca/~ve3exy VE QSL Bureau URL: http://www.magma.ca/~ve3exy/bureau.html === --- Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems, etc DX-NEWS http://njdxa.org/dx-news DX-CHAT: http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/
Re: [DX-NEWS] IRCs
Here's a message received from the UPU answering the question about a possible expiration of "old" IRC's. --- Dear Mr. Bell, Kathleen forwarded your message to me for a response, since my programme looks after IRC matters now. The "old" coupons will remain valid for exchange indefinitely. Sincerely, Akhilesh Mathur Mail Programme Manager International Bureau of the UPU Kurt Brandstetter wrote: Hello Albert ! Hello to all of you ! I got this information also 2 days ago from our post office company but they could not tell me how long the old IRCs are valid. They thought it could be the same time as our old stamps are valid. Thats until 30. June 2002. I think we will get problems if some countries take different times until the old IRCs are worthless.
