Yes me too, Ubuntu 15.10 Unity, Toshiba Chromebook 2. I've the below as
I thought it was an issue with the screensaver after reading other
sites. No luck:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.screensaver ubuntu-lock-on-suspend 'true'
sudo sed -i "s/NoDisplay=true/NoDisplay=false/g" /etc/xdg/autostart/*.desktop

Status in unity-2d package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
This seems like a recent regression on Oneiric (or perhaps I haven't
  noticed it before):

On resume from suspend, the contents of the desktop are often briefly
visible before being hidden behind the lock screen. This is a
security problem if there happens to be sensitive information on the
  screen.

  =Analysis from mdeslaur=
  This is likely what happens:

1- Something grabs mouse: ie: virtual machine window, or GTK menu in an
application or an indicator
2- Screensaver attempts to start, but cannot get exclusive lock on mouse
  3- DPMS turns monitor black
4- User moves mouse, which turns the screen back on
5- Mouse movement causes mouse to get ungrabbed by vm window or gtk menu
6- Screensaver can now grab mouse, and starts

This is all related to the fact that X does not have an API that will
let the screensaver tell an application to release mouse and keyboard
  grabs.

If whilst the date indicator is focused, you press the down keyboard
arrow (and focus the calendar) then the left/right keyboard navigation
breaks. The keyboard effectively gets "stuck" - there's no escape from
  the calendar.

You cannot press the up arrow (which you might intuitively expect to
  undo the down arrow press).

  1. Open the clock menu.
  2. Press Down.
  3. Press Down.
  4. Press Up.
  5. Press Left.

  What happens:
  2. The date item is highlighted.
  3. Whichever date in the calendar was last highlighted in this Ubuntu session
is highlighted.
  4. If that date was in the first week of the month, nothing. Otherwise, the
previous week is highlighted.
  5. If that date was the first displayed, nothing. Otherwise, the previous
date is highlighted.

  What should happen:
  2. The date item is highlighted.
  3. The month element in the calendar is highlighted.
  4. The date item is highlighted.
  5. The sound menu is opened.

  : "Up and Down
should navigate to the previous and next weeks within the current
month only; beyond the current month they should exit the grid."

The same warning messages as Nikita showed in comment #13 IIRC,
including "Language ja_JP.UTF-8 not installed". (Not the "segmentaion

[Dx-packages] [Bug 1073403] Re: "Date format not supported"

2016-03-20 Thread Charles Kerr
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all
reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since
that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some
of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently
supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly
upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
