[Dx4win] Windows XP and CW Keyer

2002-09-14 Thread WL7M
My thanks to those responding - I upgraded to Windows XP - I'll follow
your tips about doing a reinstall of DX4WIN and that should do it. Lots of
knowledge out there on this reflectormuch appreciated!

Greetings DX4WINers..

I just installed/upgraded to Windows XP Home Edition and after resolving
most issues, I can't get the CW keyer within DX4WIN to work. It worked
fine with Windows ME. Does the DX4WIN CW driver work with Windows XP
HE? The CW keyer is (was when it worked) driven through LPT1.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

[Dx4win] 7J1AAI NOT Ogasawara

2002-09-14 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED] (A. Sewell N5NA)
My version of DX4WIN had 7J1AAI mapped as Ogasawara. The information below
I received from Hal, W1NN, indicates it is not and never has been. If you
have 7J1AAI in your Ogasawara mapping I would suggest you remove it.

QUOTE

Sorry, but 7J1AAI was never used on Ogasawara. I get a lot of QSL cards
and many seem to think that 7J1 = Ogasawara, but it's just an ordinary old
Tokyo QTH. I believe that DX4WIN has it wrong, and I (and a lot of others)
would appreciate it if you could notify the author of DX4WIN that 7J1AAI
is NOT Ogasawara.

Thanks and I hope we have a chance to work again.
