Subject: [Dx4win] Label question

I'm getting ready to print QSL labels for a buro shipment. 1 QSO is
listed as not having a buro. I know I change change it to OTHER and
print, but is there a way to see which QSO it is, prior to printing?
Tnx,
Barry--

[Dx4win] F3 again

2002-12-23 Thread Erik Hyllander
Hello folks,
F3 has worked fine over the years until yesterday. Now when pushing F3, I
get the message 'An exception occured, Invalid file name'. If I then try
another callsign there is no message but the horizontal blue top section of
the QSO window turns grey. I can access the disc directly without problem.

I use RAC and nothing is changed in Preferences.

So, anybody out there have had the same problem? I could definitly use some
good advice, please.

Merry Xmas and A Happy New Year to everybody from a cold Sweden
(-14 Centigrades).

[Dx4win] Band decoder in log imports?

2002-12-23 Thread n4zi
Over the weekend I have been working on my 10 mtr log to
import it into DX4WIN - I have been able to get all of it
to import but the band info (Yes I did get the state info to work).

What is the format that it is looking for on a 10 mtr band import
should the import field read 10M, 28, 28000, 10 ? Any ideas

Thanks for your time - Merry Christmas to All!

[Dx4win] CW keying and the IC 706 MKIIG

2002-12-23 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Kurt W. Zimmerman)
Greetings all and Happy Holidays;
I've been spending some quality time with my IC 706MKIIG since it is
the
only spare radio I have to use at my new station. I've investigated the
computer controlled interface I need to control the rig and found some
great resources on the internet thanks to many members of this group. I am
now interested in searching out CW keying. Now here is what I want to do
and I am wondering if it can be done. On my primary radio (Yaesu FT-920) I
can operate CW from my computer using DX4WIN as well as operate with my
paddle. Is there a way to do the same with the IC-706? I would think the
cable I use from the LPT port to key the rig would work but I would like to
use my paddle at the same time. Do I need to use an external keyer with my
paddle and use a Y-cable from it to the rig? I would like to see if there
are other possibilities before I go this route. Please advise.
