[Dx4win] Clipboard - Packet Window?
Hello everybody, I understand that it should be possible to copy info into the Packet window from an external source. I connected to the dx-cluster at OH2AQ and copied to the clipboard 25 lines of info. Then I tried two ways. First, TNC not connected to the local cluster. TNC answered with cmd: and EH? for every line i.d. it did not understand the command. Second, TNC connected to the local cluster. It seems that the TNC after receiving started to send info to the cluster, so I disconnected. Not in any of the two cases info came up in the DX Spots Window which I expected. My TNC is KAM+ and I use DX4WIN 6.02. So, what did go wrong? Ideas pse! 73 Erik Erik Hyllander, SM0LZT e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] alt.: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Packet: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[Dx4win] DX Spots Window Question
Does anyone know the significance and meaning of the first column in the DX Spots Window? The title of the column is P and a single digit number appears for each entry received from the packet cluster. Tnx 73, Mark, K6FG
[Dx4win] DX Spots Window Question
That is a priority listing for the spot...based on your setup. 73, Todd WM8C's Ham Links http://www.qsl.net/wm8c All outgoing emails and attachments are scanned with Norton 2002 - Original Message - From: Mark [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Saturday, February 08, 2003 12:37 PM Subject: [Dx4win] DX Spots Window Question Does anyone know the significance and meaning of the first column in the DX Spots Window? [Dx4win] DX Spots Window Question
Mark, it indicates the priority of the spot. I had a fair number of requests to do this for folks who have difficulties distinguishing the colors (the so called 'color challenged users') Paul At 09:37 AM 2/8/03 -0800, Mark wrote: Does anyone know the significance and meaning of the first column in the DX Spots Window? [Dx4win] DX Spots Window Question Answered
Thank you all for the answer to my question. Apparently the number in the P column signifies the priority of the spot for those of us who have problems in distinguishing the colors. 73, Mark, K6FG
[Dx4win] Saving a filtered selection as a seperate log?
Would saving the report itself accomplish your needs? If so, simply create a custom report and save it. No need for a separate log at that point. In the Log Window, click on Window, Logbook. Then right click on the logbook display and choose report editor. Choose 'new' and create the report of your liking. Save it and it will be available for your use from that point on. Hello, Is it possible to save a filtered selection from my log (ie, QRP contacts) as a seperate log so that I can then look at those contacts under Reports to see if they meet DXCC and other award criteria? John, there is a special group filter for QRP, assuming you have set the QRP flag for each QSO. I think it's group #254 or 255 (the other is YL). Create the group filter, use it, then do your stats. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.com PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC

[Dx4win] importing NA Contest files
Hi Richard, NA also produces an ADIF file, which DX4WIN can import from. I've done it many times. However, my version has a quirk.. When you select Import/Export and highlight Import, from the File drop down, you get the Specify file for import dialog box. When you select the folder your ADIF file is in, it will not show up in the window until you start typing the name of your file. Hope your doing well, it's been a long time since contested in Ulster County. 73 Scott K2SD - Original Message - From: Richard L King [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Friday, February 07, 2003 11:02 AM Subject: [Dx4win] importing NA Contest files Hi everyone. I am having a little trouble importing NA Contest log files into DX4WIN and I may be doing something wrong. The log file for NA Contest is a .QDF file. But DX4WIN seems to want a .NA file. I can't get the .QDF file to import and I don't seem to have a .NA file. Has anyone else been successful importing NA contest files into DX4WIN?
