[Dx4win] ve2lx ft 1000d
I have a Yaesu FT-1000MP MKV and use the following, works fine; Radio Type: Yaesu FT1000MP Address: 00 Baudrate:4800 Default: checked Com Port: COM1 Poll rate (ms): 1000 Max tries: 6 Notes for radio: empty I believe for the FT1000D you have to set Radio Type to Yaesu FT1000 and check Default. Note that Notes for radio will now show Requires EPROM 6.0 or later. You must have EPROM 6.0 installed. If not your 1000D will not work with computer control. I would call Yaesu again and mention the above. Only this time talk to a different technician!!! 73 de John/KC9JS Twin Lakes, WI USA www.qrz.com/callsign/kc9js * - Original Message - From: ve2lx [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2003 06:45 AM Subject: [Dx4win] ve2lx ft 1000d hello to all again request I will be doing the next contest with the ft 1000d but problem with my icom ic 765 the 2 digit radio adress command is 44 to configure in preference/radio but with ft 1000d unknown adress the technician direct at YAESU USA never earded about decimal radio command adress ...? dx4win log book said yesterday there is no adress with yaesu radio so I tried to remove the default 00 in the adress commad field but does not work ! so how can my logbook from my computer can see automatically from ft 1000d the band - freq - mode is there a member of this group can help me.. [Dx4win] Freq in MHz for $$ in QSO note
Hello everyone! I have placed $$ in the Text to add to QSO note fields in the contest = QSO window. It works great... it adds the radio frequency to every QSO as claimed. My problem is that the format of the frequency breaks my external mailing = program because the number has a comma. I would like to see the frequency = in MHZ Only...with no commas and no label. ie: Current: 21,260KHz What I am looking for: 21.260 Is there a way to do this? Perhaps a $$$ or a ## in the field instead. = Would this have to be a new feature request? I would hate to lose the = functionality because of the comma breaking my log export/import. I did = look in the manual and found nothing that helps me answer this question. Thank you.
[Dx4win] Freq in MHz for $$ in QSO note
Thank you for your replies. The program I am importing it to is MS-ACCESS. I have written an = extensive database that does reporting, graphs and QSL return tracking = well beyond the scope of DX4WIN. To use the database I click on the log window and tell it to save the log = as a file. This file is comma separated and is written by directly by = DX4WIN. I suppose I could parse the file with another program but it could not be = Access beacuse Access does not read the file correctly because DX4WIN only = writes the file one way. Since DX4WIN exports comma seperated log files the inclusion of any comma = messes up the export. Perhaps another way to do this would be to change = the delimiter that DX4WIN uses to break up fields. I have tried to fix it on import, but there is no way to differentiate = good commas and bad commas. =20 PS The manual I am refering to is the DX4WIN manual and this has nothing = to do with any sort of email client. Thanks again for the replies. 73 N2KH Mel Martin [EMAIL PROTECTED] 03/12/03 11:15AM Hi Doug.. I realize this isn't a solution... but can it not be fixed in the importing program? - Original Message - From: Doug Hill [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2003 10:46 Subject: [Dx4win] Freq in MHz for $$ in QSO note Hello everyone! [Dx4win] Freq in MHz for $$ in QSO note
This sounds like a bug in Paul's export function. If a field has commas, he must put quotes around the entire field. He does this with the IOTA database I believe, so it should be easy enough to fix. 73 - Jim AD1C --- Doug Hill [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: The program I am importing it to is MS-ACCESS. [Dx4win] World Map
The map I have (ver. 6.02) does it. I have to have an empty callsign in the QSO-window after clicking on QSO/Add real time. The spot country is then shown in plain text in the QSO window and also on the map. Another observation: The spot country is only shown in different colour on the map if the window is reduced, not if you have a full screen window! 73 de Erik/SM0JCA - Original Message - From: Bill Murrell [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2003 3:24 AM Subject: [Dx4win] World Map Since upgrading to 6.02 my world map does not indicate the spot country from the spot window. Thank you gentlemen. The quotes were what I was missing. There is a setting in Access that was = able to set that made use of the quotes properly.
