[Dx4win] DXCC Submission
Tom, When you are experimenting with submissions for DXCC, keep in mind that once a QSO is flagged for submission, it will show up forever as to be submitted. Under the reports menu option, there is an option to clear he submission and checked flags. When I try to do this, DX4WIN produces a list of 600+ entriesmixed mode, mixed band and obviously, many duplicate country entries. I have tried numerous settings under Preferences to no avail. Changing the bands within PREFERENCES seems to have no effect on the submission listing produced. Is there a way from within DX4WIN to produce an accurate submission for DXCC or do I need to take the info from DX4WIN and transfer it to a program such as EXCEL? I have also experienced this problem when trying produce a basic WAS submission. I get over 170 entries when I click on Submission from within the REPORTS-WAS menu regardless of the number of bands or modes I have checked under PREFERENCES. [Dx4win] RE: [MMTTY] XP / serial port access
Where can I get such an LPT port driver, on my XP system LPT1 (on mother board) is assigned a 3 digit address by XP (like 378h or 278h) but LP2 (on add on board)is assigned a 4 digit address by XP which is not at user level. This 4 digit address is not compatible with ARSWIN or Aerial controller. If a driver exists which I can use with LPT2 and assign an address that I want, it would be very useful. Would very much appreciate your advice. Serial ;orts are available as a standard API in WINXP. The serial ports NOT LPT are at the user level. If you need the LPT ports you need a Port Driver. Several are available. -Original Message- From: Tom Sessions [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, June 07, 2003 4:45 PM To: n1mm logger; MMTTY; dx4win Subject: [MMTTY] XP / serial port access I am looking for the software that allows access of serial ports through WINXP. Would someone please direct me to the proper website? Thanks / 73 Tom K4RV [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo! Groups Sponsor -~-- Get A Free Psychic Reading! [Dx4win] Customizing the log
DX4WINners: I have been using this fine program for several years, but have yet to exploit many of its features. For example, I have yet to print a QSL label! I'll get to that this summer, but, meanwhile, I would like to contribute to the Logbook of the World (LOTW) Beta test. I believe that LOTW currently accepts only QSO's from January 1, 1998 onwards. It is not at all clear to me how to create a subset log file with only those QSO's occurring since that date. I can create a report with that subset--but how do I save that as a log in its own right? All you need to do is set your filter for Qs from 1/1/98. Once you hit F8, the resulting list can either be saved (don't forget to select a different name), or exported in any format available. Simplest thing to do is go directly from the filter step to an export as ADIF, and you're done. [Dx4win] Got it!
I have created my 1998-onwards .ADI file to start the LOTW process. Thanks all--no further input required at this point. Garry, NI6T __ 160 meters---not a band but an obsession
[Dx4win] File modification
Whenever I start Dx4Win I see Modified and numbers counting down. Following the suggestion given for submitting a LoTW log I get the same thing. What have I done wrong?? I don't remember this happening previously... John Wilcox NS1Z 871 Route 120 Rumford, ME 04276-3836 PH: 207-364-2246 FN44rn
