[Dx4win] Re: WAZ Spots
I think my posting got lost in the SMOM discussion, so am reposting it. Has anyone tried this? Any thoughts? John, K2CIB - Original Message - From: J. F. I thought that if I set a date filter of this weekend only, and set the spot window to WAZ Colors, I would start out with all highlighted zones, and as I progressively worked zones, the spot colors would change. They didn't. Did I do something wrong or was there more that I should have done, or doesn't it work? I managed to work 32 zones with 42 QSOs. John, K2CIB
[Dx4win] QSL printing question
I'm still exploring DX4WIN full capabilities (so far, WOW), and have a QSL printing question. I'd like to make a custom label to print on my existing QSLs. I understand the basics of creating the custom label, but wonder if there's a way to increase the distance between each QSO on a label, or even the callsign and the first QSO. I ask because I never contemplated printing directly to the QSL when ordering them about a year ago, and I have a section with preprinted boxes for multiple QSOs (one row for each qso then separate columns for date, time, freq, mode and rst. Is there any way to tell DX4WIN For QSL printing, I want each QSO to be spaced farther apart than you normally do and I also want each QSO element to be spaced at a certain interval? If not, I have a workaround, but I'd like to use the spaces already provided for QSOs. Thanks! 73, Joe KQ3F
[Dx4win] Report Improvement Suggestion
Well like I said, I agree fundamentally but to be honest I can see both just as well at this point of my life. I'm sure a day will come that I may change that tune. Just in case anyone's wondering I'm on a 19 screen at 1600 x 1200 (thought I was at 1024 x 768 still) because I wanted to have too much open on the screen at once, (like every window) and have done so since version 4.x . I suppose I could used to an O as well any other letter :O) WWMWMWM works too LOL! I think the only solution to this whole problem is to have this: CCC We all can see that one. Anyway, thanks for the bandwidth and I'm mostly just funnin' with everyone cuz' it don't much matter to me what letter is used and if the majority wants something other than M that's fine with me. I want all C's anyway :O) 73, Todd WM8C's Ham Links www.wm8c.com All emails scanned with NIS2003 - Original Message - From: Joe - WD?M To: Todd ; DX 4 Windows Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 9:12 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Report Improvement Suggestion Scolded? Why not focus (pardon the pun) on customer satisfaction, since it's something I'd think is quite easily changed. Maybe the COLOR could be changed in the report to emphasize the differences, rather than be limited to black on white? I know it's easy to want to get everything on the screen, but maybe time to sacrifice something so you don't have to strain so hard to see it? I too use a 19 inch monitor at 1600x1200. I did this so that I can get the DX4WIN windows on the screen and also open something like MMTTY, HamScope, CWGet or other such programs in the remaining space. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joe - WD?M Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 9:42 AM To: Todd; DX 4 Windows Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Report Improvement Suggestion Great idea! I just realized something...if we change the M to an O what happens when we have this string? CCOCCCOCC Now the O's and C's look alike!
