[Dx4win] Real email from group?

2009-03-03 Thread Ann Mary
Got an email saying my membership in this group has been disabled due to
excessive bumps?

I am paranoid with all the talk of ID theft and spam and all, I don't
know if I should respond to it as directed.

What is getting bumped? Mail from the group to Me?

Is this email bogus or the real thing? The directions say to reply to
confirmed ##.

Thanks

Ann Mary

It looks like you're not disabled since your message went out.

I would ignore it.

Re: [Dx4win] Printing QSLs with Alternate Call (Different from Licensed Call)

2009-03-03 Thread Isidro Acosta Hernández
Hi, Joe and the fellows...

I have already declared the IT9/K2XX QSOs as a separate group and
imported them into a separate log. Normally when a QSL label is
printed, it starts the label with K2XX confirming QSO with and then
the call of the recipient station is inserted. What I would like to do
is replace K2XX with IT9/K2XX in the preceding phrase. Changing the
greeting menu entries doesn't affect this phrase. Or am I missing
 something?

I think Dx4win only prints the other's callsign, not our callsign. The
only method I know is putting it in the group name. I'd also like the
label said something like EA8NQ confirms QSO with ..

I have custom labels selected where this line is different
You can edit these custom labels in what you want,
That's why I put in the greetings lines for example qso with EA6/ON4AOI

Guy and Allan, thanks for your reply, but I think I didn't explain
myself well. The greeting part of the REP/LAB menu refers to the
closing lines of the QSL, and I know that I can also print the group
info if desired, which also appears at bottom of the label.

I have some DX QSOs that I made with a portable prefix (IT9). I would
like to print my QSLs so that they say IT9/K2XX confirming QSO... I
thought I could merely start a new log with those QSOs imported and then
change the call (K2XX) in the preferences menu to IT9/K2XX. However,
I'm not able to change the call since it's apparently a part of the
license file. Is there another way of getting the alternate call to
 print on the QSLs?

 Thanks and 73,

 Joe
