[Dx4win] Packet cluster Dropping?
I don't recall having problems with my previous versions of DX4WIN where I sign onto a packet cluster and 10 minutes or so later it drops?? Is there a script that will keep alive the cluster connection within DX4WIN? Thanks. Re: [Dx4win] Packet cluster Dropping?
You can add |5 to the end of a line in DX4WIN.TCP to generate a keep-alive every 5 minutes. That's vertical bar + 5 not 15 george wrote: I don't recall having problems with my previous versions of DX4WIN where I sign onto a packet cluster and 10 minutes or so later it drops?? You might also consider installing ve7cc cluster on your pc and connecting to that. It has a lot more functionality for filtering and such that DX4Win. george wrote: I don't recall having problems with my previous versions of DX4WIN where I sign onto a packet cluster and 10 minutes or so later it drops?? Is there a script that will keep alive the cluster connection within DX4WIN? George, see http://dx4win.ad1c.us/cluster/index.htm and follow the directions for the Keep-alive feature. Simply adding |3 to the end of your connection setup in the DX4WIN.TCP file will keep the connection alive. 73, -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Packet cluster Dropping?
Thanks to all that responded. I will add the |5 to the end of my cluster connection in .TCP file.
