It would appear my attempt to attach the screen capture was unsuccessful. You can see it at http://www.k7vc.com/images/Capture.GIF -- Dick Flanagan K7VC d...@k7vc.com On 5/22/2011 6:34 PM, Dick Flanagan wrote: Note the 18 DIG Worked. Re: [Dx4win] Search Parameters
Oops, you mean Digital :-) There isn't an easy way, because you'd have to search for each digital mode separately that you've ever worked. - Jim -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Search Parameters
I've tried searching for Mode=RTTY, QSL Date=None and wound up with 5,000 hits! D4W was able to find those 18 entries, I should be able to. Re: [Dx4win] Search Parameters
Do a DXCC listing, select only the Digital mode. Then you can double click on any W (worked, not mailed or confirmed) to see the QSOs with that entity. [Dx4win] DX4WIN Data Updater v. 4.0 released
I have released version 4.0 of the DX4WIN Data Updater: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/updater/ This version has a number of new features and changes. For those of you who prompt before each file is updated, the new version will make this even easier (no prompt for files that haven't changed). Please re-read the whole web page, as it's been extensively revised. You can even print it out now and it will look right (except some of the screen shots may not be sized properly, still working on that). NOTE: if you run the old updater with the -exe option, it won't detect that the program was updated. This is because the directory name changed on the web site. Please download the .ZIP file for this version and follow the installation instructions on the web page. This shouldn't happen again. NOTE: all DX4WUPD.RC files now include the the -exe option. Checking for the updated program and notifying the user is very fast, because the program is not actually downloaded until you request the update. IMPORTANT: You must delete all the files in your UPDATE directory (or delete the UPDATE directory, including its contents) before running the new program version. Otherwise, the DX4WIN Data Updater will keep updating the same files over and over again, even though they haven't really changed. Deleting the files in the UPDATE directory is the only way to fix this. Note that the updater will update all your selected files after you do this, but if run a second time, there should be no files to update. If there are, let me know ASAP. This problem shouldn't happen again. New master callsign and eQSL/LoTW user lists were released this weekend. DX4WIN.TCP was last updated on 11 May 2011. There will updates to the country file, awards database, and eQSL/LoTW users next weekend or shortly thereafter. Here are the release notes: Ver 4.0 - 23 May 2011 New: –restore option returns data files to their previous versions. New: –tcp and –kcp options take an optional file name of preferred nodes. New: many options now have –noopt versions, meaning don't perform the action. New: –debug shows all specified options and values. Change: you will only be prompted to update files that have actually changed. Change: –log can be specified multiple times to back up multiple log files. Change: downloads DX4WIN.TCP from real file, less frequent changes. Change: fulllist.xml (IOTA Islands) always downloaded, but more intelligently updated. Change: can't use both –mas and –mas1 options at the same time (shows warning, prompts to exit). Change: ignore unrecognized options in configuration file instead of reporting them as errors. Change: removed –all option. Special thanks (in no particular order) to Wayne, WA1PMA for testing, Doug VE3MV for documentation reviews, and Tom, WA2PNI for creating the program icon. Please report any program or documentation errors to me so I can fix them. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
