[Dx4win] not a dx4win logfile
Hello, first question on this reflector. Run the dx4win installation as administrator (right click and select it) Install dx4win outside programs directory. Prefer something like c:/dx4win/ If you need LPT support you should run lptdriver file which is inside drivers directory. There is no need to mave any file. [Dx4win] LOTW/eQSL
Running 8.05 on netbook with Win 7 starter, when I try to export eQSL or LOTW an error message comes up saying Could not find ADIF Filter The box behind the error box is the Import/Export Filters box and it is filled with jiberish. If I go to Import/Export via the File menu the box comes up with the same jiberish. In looking at the userguide it is not written for vs 8.05 as the menus it references are not in vs 8. [Dx4win] Finally... 8.05 Upgrade
Special thanks to Jim AD1C and Paul KK4HD for all their help and patience. I had been using 8.01 because I always had problems trying to upgrade to 8.05. I finally ran out of Group Names at 253. 8.05 will do 64,000.. So I had no choice but to upgrade. I drove Jim and finally Paul crazy yesterday with eMails describing all my error messages. It was finally fixed by Paul and Jim correcting all the errors in my log. We are so lucky to have the DX4WIN support we have. Always in past versions, using F8 as a callsign filter always worked. Enter F8 Enter Callsign Nothing now This is going to making verifying incoming QSL's crazy... All other functions of the F8 filter seem to work..
