Re: [Dx4win] LoTW
Do a search (F8) with the upload date to find all the qsos you want to upload again. In qso window go to LoTW and clear LotW upload date first using the qsos in filter, and set Lotw upload flag after. Finally export lotw qsos. By the way you only need to upload only the qsos you changed and not all. But if you like to upload alla agn , no problem 73 Kostas sv1dpi - Original Message - From: Harald Kjøde hara-...@online.no To: DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Sent: Sunday, November 06, 2011 1:48 AM Subject: [Dx4win] LoTW I had to do some changes in an already uploaded file. As I try to export the whole file again (6300 qso's+) I got No qso's were written. That is telling me there is nothing to export. Have tried different ways to solve it, but got the same answer. Thanks LA9SN - Al PS: I'm not sure if I'll try this again as it just makes a lot of problems. __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] LOTW
Guess the ARRL's LOTW is getting cranky? I tried logging on to LOTW this morning and the response was too many users. This is the first time this has happened in years of use. I guess their servers are over whelmed? Re: [Dx4win] LOTW
No, I've seen this fairly often -- especially right after big dx contests. Just try again later. No it's not. But they do expire from the bandmap. On 2011-11-06 14:34, Bob Turner wrote: Its it possible to have old spots expire/delete automatically? [Dx4win] GREAT CIRCLE BEARINGS
Is there a way to verify the great circle bearings (azimuths) reported by DX4WIN. Over the past month, the reported bearings I get when entering a QSO have started appearing very erratic. Sometimes they are on the mark, and other times they seem to be 180 degrees in error. Anything in particular that may have gone wrong? I verified the station parameters I entered in the Preferences, and they are correct. I am running V8.05 73 de NN3V Charlie __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] Antenna Beam Heading display
I'm wondering if the DX4WIN developers have ever been asked to display on the great circle map the bearing of the current beam heading with a translucent bandwidth of +/- 25deg from the center of the beam heading (3ele beam BW). That way the operator could see at a glance if he/she had to move their antenna to a DX spot of interest. So let say the beam heading is in a translucent yellow or some other color that would allow map data to show through pretty well and the DX spot red line would still bounce around on new DX spots and the OP wouldn't have to do the math in the heat of the moment to see if his beam was close enough. This adds Antenna Beam Heading display to already long list of features for DX4WIN. If this has already been suggested that's OK Dennis, k0eoo __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Re: [Dx4win] Delete Old Spots
For spots timeouts, that seems to set the time value for a manual delete, but does not auto-delete spots that exceed the value. Anyway, I did not know that setting was there. Thanks for telling me about it.
