[Dx4win] Call Sign Lookup (F3) EXT Data . FIXED
Hello All: Many thanks to Kostas SV1DPI the fix has been provided. He recommended changing both lookup strings to the following: * HTTP://WWW.QRZ.COM/db/* This works! Make sure that no other data sources are selected in Data source parameters. *Many thanks to Kostas Stamatis, SV1DPI* *-- Dave K3FT* __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] sort index for report generator
Kostas I believe K7AWB wants a listing by country NAME, not by prefix as DXCC list shows. There are advantages to having both methods of listing DXCC entities. Re: [Dx4win] Call Sign Lookup (F3) EXT Data . FIXED
When I hit F3 in the QSO Window, the Callsign/Mgr lookup Window comes up and has the Station's Call in the Callsign Box, but nothing else happens. All I see is a dotted outline where something might be but it's empty. I have HTTP://WWW.QRZ.COM/db/ in both places in the Preferences, Website callsign lookup Box and have a checkmark in Enabled. I had never tried this feature before and it doesn't work when I put in these entries. If I put in http://hamcall.net/call?callsign= in both places, I get the same result. Suggestions? Re: [Dx4win] sort index for report generator
Yes it's true that you will see the calls per entity but are sorted alphabetically by prefix. As a solution until Paul gives this option also, you can write them in a file (comma separated file) and import it to excel to work with it more.. 73 Kostas sv1dpi - Original Message - From: n...@comcast.net To: Kostas Stamatis Cc: Steve K7AWB ; REFLECTOR dx4win Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2011 7:41 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] sort index for report generator Kostas I believe K7AWB wants a listing by country NAME, not by prefix as DXCC list shows. Re: [Dx4win] Call Sign Lookup (F3) EXT Data .
I thought Paul was going to have to do an update before it would work properely??? Many of us asked for that over 3 months ago ( actually we asked Paul to implement XML for paid subscribers of QRZ.COM ). To my knowledge nothing has been done!? As far as using the F3 key you must hit the ENTER key after the F3 window pops up with the call shown. The program will then open QRZ.com to that call. 73 Bill N4NX -- From: Dave Weiss davidhwe...@gmail.com Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2011 7:49 AM To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] Call Sign Lookup (F3) EXT Data .
