Re: [Dx4win] grayed spot

2012-09-19 Thread Roger D Johnson
I have both the worked and mailed cutoff set to 0 so this should not be the
problem. A
station that I've worked but not confirmed should show up as red letters on a
white
background along with a W in the country window.

In this case, I worked OD5ZZ on 15m SSB. The country window for Lebanon shows
a W in the 15m SSB block but the packet spot is grayed out! I have other spots
grayed out for modes I haven't selected which is normal.

I still don't know what's going on!

You can set a time when the mailed no longer counts in days in the

they are grey as designed so you do not try to work again so soon. Dan KI6X

This is normal. It has no sense to work the same station again and waiting
for a qsl another time. Or you should sent a qsl for the old qso, or you have
sent and never replied or you are not in log so you should delete the qso. I
make the following trick in cases like this. I mark the old qso as od5zz/mm.
Not the best way but maybe a solution...

Walid on SSB before but not confirmed as shown by the W in my country window.
Spot should be red. I've checked all my settings but am stumped! Any
 suggestions?

Re: [Dx4win] grayed spot

2012-09-19 Thread Kostas SV1DPI
 From the help file:

Mailed Cutoff

Similar as Worked Cutoff, but the QSL date is used instead of the QSO
date. QSOs for which a card has been sent longer ago than the number of
days specified will be treated as if a card was never sent. This can be
used in reports and summary windows and when marking additional QSOs for
QSLing. *A value of zero is used to ignore the CutOff and view all QSLs
that were mailed as 'mailed' regardless how long ago the mailing took
place*.

So you should have a value like 1 for what you want...

[Dx4win] Rig control

2012-09-19 Thread Michael Gulbranson
Hi All:

I need some help. My station is set up for SO2R contesting. I use DX4WIN
as my general logging software. My issue is how do I toggle the rigs when
on SSB when using DX4WIN? I want to leave my rigs' mic connections
connected to the SO2R box and use my headset mic that is connected to the
computer sound card for SSB.

I don't want to disconnect the above and install the base station mic for
general use. I tried toggling the rigs in the File drop down box to see
if that would do it..nope. I toggle the rigs for receive only.

I do get audio from the headset through the computer, the SO2R box and to a
rig, just happens it is my SP rig. I want the audio to go to my run radio.
General purpose operation and chasing DX , not contesting.

Thank you in advance

Michael WG0M

What SO2R box are you using and how is it normally controlled?
