[Dx4win] Help Wanted marked QSL`s not printing on first go
Hello Fellow Dx4Win users and greetings from Wales. I write to ask for help in sorting out a glitch in my Dx4Win version 8.05. The problem is: when I am confirming QSL cards sent in via the Buro using the F2 key. All goes well until I go to print these labels. Then there is nothing shown to print. But if I close the program down and reopen it all the marked QSLs are there for printing. Could anyone advise what the problem is that causes me to have to shut the program down then open up it again before it will show my marked QSL`s for printing. My thanks to you all in advance. 73 Glyn GW0ANA __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Re: [Dx4win] Spots and spotter callsigns in BandMap
Hi Paul, Yes I know this and have had set both to 20 minutes, but it will still be better to see in the BandMap the spot initiator and time (if less than what was set in preferences). If it is too much work for time info, at least the spot initiators callsign would be highly appreciated in the BandMap (with right click to avoid too much info display in this window). The issue is that the main spot window reflects spots of all bands and is filled in very fast so that individual band spots disappear (go above and must be searched for to see the initiator). Seeing several spots for example in 50 MHz window and knowing where they have been heard, gives immediately the idea what paths are opened.. 73, Radi De : Paul van der Eijk pvandere...@gmail.com À : Radivoj Kar, F6GNZ f6...@yahoo.com Cc : DX4WIN Refelector dx4win@mailman.qth.net; supp...@dx4in.com supp...@dx4in.com Envoyé le : Lundi 15 avril 2013 23h53 Objet : Re: [Dx4win] Spots and spotter callsigns in BandMap Hi Radi, Did you know that the spotting window and the bandmap use a different age for spotssettings? See File | Preferences | Packet1 | Age for spots (mins) There is also an option in the spotting window to display the age of a spot (in minutes) instead of the time. --Paul, KK4HD On Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 3:54 PM, Radivoj Kar, F6GNZ f6...@yahoo.com wrote: Hi, Here is my proposal for one of the next releases of DX4WIN: A right mouse-click on the spot shown in the BandMap should display the originator's call sign and the time expired since he had generated the spot (spots may have been already gone out of the visible part of the main spot window). This would be very useful to see the propagation circuit openings for higher bands (50, 144 MHz...) in order to beam the antenna in right direction when trying to call CQ or listen for others in these paths... 73, Radi F6GNZ __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html -- ~ DX4WIN logging software Paul van der Eijk, KK4HD BrookHill Data Systems LLC http://www.dx4win.com __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

I recently tried to install 6.03 on my Windows 7 to test something for someone. I could not get past the port problems. I finally was able to get it going on my laptop running Windows XP. There have been a lot of improvements since version 6, especially in the area of LoTW and eQSL. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] FT3000 rig control in DX4WIN
Just wanted to pass a long to users of DX4WIN who have the Yaesu FT3000 and are looking for Rig Control with it. Carl N4PY has a program called Pegasus Plus which supports the 3000, and it integrates very easy with DX4WIN. You can try it out for 10 days before deciding if you want to purchase it. He will help you set it up to work with DX4WIN, which is very simple to do. His website is: http://www.n4py.com/ This is a good product to use being that it doesn't appear that DX4WIN is going to support the FT3000. To bad we have to buy another program to have Rig control in DX4WIN. Someone is working on a program to integrate 2 rotor control like you can with Radios in DX4WIN also. 73 John -- EMAIL: j...@w9rpm.com WEBPAGE: http://www.w9rpm.com/ Wisconsin VHF/UHF County Hunters: http://www.wivuch.com/ DX and CONTEST CLUB: http://www.w9idx.com/ La Crosse Hams: http://www.lacrossehams.org/ AOL IM: W9RPM YAHOO: W9RPM __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
