[Dx4win] Help with a small problem please
I am running DX4W ver8.05 and as of yesterday afternoon the bandmap is longer being populated. Spot are passing through the DX Spots window but not appearing on the bandmap. Why should that be, it has been working OK for some years. Something changed yesterday. Any Ideas anyone? 73 Andy G3SVD __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Help with a small problem please
Re my email below. Solved! I don't know quite what it means but I noticed that in the title bar of the DX SPOTS window it said (HOLDING). I then saw that in the drop down menu for that window was a option toggle Holding I clicked on that and the spots started to fall like rain on an English Summers Day. What on earth that option is for I have no idea. I did notice earlier that all the spots in that window were from yesterday, but I cleared them and it was populated by todays but not to the bandmap. I would not mind an explanation about why have that option. 73 and sorry for the bandwidth. Re: [Dx4win] Help with a small problem please
You can toggle 'holding' on/off with the Insert key. You may have hit it at some point. 73, Ian G4IIY - Original Message - From: andyphewitt andyphew...@btopenworld.com To: andyphew...@btopenworld.com; 'DX4WIN Reflector' dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Friday, June 21, 2013 12:21 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Help with a small problem please Re my email below. Re: [Dx4win] Help with a small problem please
Hi Andy, The (HOLDING) feature is handy if you want to scroll back up the DX SPOTS to review them and not be bumped to the bottom when a new spot comes in. Yes the INSERT key toggles it on/off. HOLDING is also initiated if you sort the DX Spots window by frequency and is not toggled off when you go to another sort method so you must toggle it of manually. 73 John ZL1BYZ. -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of andyphewitt Sent: Friday, 21 June 2013 23:22 To: andyphew...@btopenworld.com; 'DX4WIN Reflector' Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Help with a small problem please Re my email below.
