[Dx4win] Mt Athos Not Appearing in Country Totals on 40 Meters
I worked and confirmed SV2ASP/A on 40 meters on April 7, 2010. He shows up as confirmed in my log for Mt Athos, yet neither the QSO nor the confirmation carry over to the Country window or to any DXCC Reports. I've worked Monk Apollo on several other bands and the log maps properly to the Country window and Reports just fine. What could be the difference with this 40m QSO? I'd attach a screen shot, but I think the reflector would strip it. Re: [Dx4win] Mt Athos Not Appearing in Country Totals on 40 Meters
Larry, I see nothing special with that QSO when entered in the log. Do you have an RSTr = 0 by chance, or and 'I' in the DXCC award column? --Paul, KK4HD On Thu, Nov 7, 2013 at 8:11 AM, Larry Burke w...@sbcglobal.net wrote: I worked and confirmed SV2ASP/A on 40 meters on April 7, 2010. Re: [Dx4win] Mt Athos Not Appearing in Country Totals on 40 Meters
Ah, it was the I in the DXCC award column! I know what it is, but not how it got there. Somewhere along the way I must have been convinced the QSO was invalid. And since I normally do not display this part of my data entry, I did not see it. Re: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New?
Hello I´ve just noticed today that there is a new menu option on the LOTW account status page It reads DXCC QSL Download Also at the bottom of the righ hand box there is a new bullet: * For an ADIF download with the details of all QSLs in your DXCC record use DXCC QSL DOWNLOAD [https://lotw.arrl.org/lotwuser/logbook/qslcards.php?ac_acct=1]. The link leads to the same Menu Option that is actually a ADIF download.Has anyone investigated this yet? Is there a tool to compare and selectively fix eventual mismatches? I have been searching for a tool that helps me determine exactly which QSO was credited for each band / mode DXCC credit. Maybe this is the way. Re: [Dx4win] [NaP3] RE: Re: another bug
Thought I would chime in on this also. I have had the problem in DX4WIN of the Band/Mode changing back and forth after I go to a spot from the DX4WIN spotting window. When I take LPB2 out of the equation, it never does it either here. I don't have a K3, so that part is different. Also tried Power SDR, and others and have the same result. Played with the polling, and sometimes helps, but always gos back. Just my 2 cents. 73 John On 11/7/2013 6:27 PM, w6...@arrl.net wrote: Carl, I haven't followed this entire thread but I 'solved' my phantom button presses (mainly the annoying spontaneous swap to TX VFO B and Ant Tuner turn on with my FTdx3000 and HRD. Re: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New?
No one has commented on this yet. I have looked at the ADIF file and it would be fantastic to be able to use this file to set the DXCC award flags in DX4WIN. Since most of my DXCC submissions have been done using LoTW I am unable to easily and accurately educate my DX4WIN log of QSO's DXCC award status, this would be the missing link. 73 John ZL1BYZ -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of marc...@alternex.com.br Sent: Friday, 8 November 2013 06:46 To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New? Re: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New?
Well it would be very useful to me and I'm sure others as it would mean we could use the submission tools within DX4WIN again as they are now useless when submissions are initiated outside of DX4WIN it has no way of knowing that they have happened so the data it has to work with is useless. This new file has the potential to fix that. 73 John ZL1BYZ. _ From: Rick Murphy [mailto:k1mu.nos...@gmail.com] Sent: Friday, 8 November 2013 16:33 To: John Shaw Subject: Re: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New? That's the reason ARRL added it, to allow data in your DXCC record, when it's available, to be queried. It's good to be able to tell which one of the dozens of QSOs with a common DXCC entity that ARRL used in your DXCC record. 73, -Rick __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] Upgrading with existing license
Hi, All. As AI6V's secretary, I downloaded DX4WIN 8.5 to upgrade from our older version of 8.2. I dropped our existing license into the folder alongside the .EXE file for the upgrade, but I don't know how to get it recognized, so we can activate the upgrade, and transfer our logs and data from the save folder in the older version to the new one. Thanks for any help you can give us. 88 Sue AI6YL __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
