[Dx4win] Convert W1AW Centennial QSOs to Spreadsheet
Recently I wrote a crude program for Windows to help find the W1AW/* QSOs in your log and convert them to a spreadsheet format, sorted by state. You can find out more about the program here: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/ Version 1.3 of the program was released on 27 May 2014: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/#history You can see the sample output here: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/AD1C.pdf When I say crude, I mean that it's a command-line program, not a real Windows GUI. The program has been tested by several people. If you have any problems or suggestions, please send them my way. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] ADIF to DX4WIN log conversion version 6.2 released 27 May 2014
I have released version 6.2 of ADIF to DX4WIN, you can download it from here: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/adif2dxq/ There are a number of bug fixes in this release. This doesn't mean I didn't create new ones. One of my goals was to merge the code base with this program so most of the QSO party maintenance could be done in one place. http://software.ad1c.us/ADIF_County/ Here are the release notes: Ver 6.2 - 27 May 2014 Feature: added OK DX RTTY, SAC and CQ-M contests Feature: added state QSO parties: AR, HI, LA, MD, MS, NE, NJ, ND, OK, OR, SC, VT, WV Feature: PA QSO Party converts ARRL section to US state for in-state participants Feature: multiple logs can be converted in same session (no need to restart program) Bug fix: crash converting CW Ops Mini-CWT log file Bug fix: transfer of CQ zone from WriteLog in VOLTA RTTY contest Bug fix: transfer of Name in TARA Grid Dip contest Bug fix: transfer of serial number in PA QSO Party Bug fix: transfer of notes from ADIF NOTES field to QSO Notes field Bug fix: transfer of comments from ADIF COMMENT field to QSO Notes field Bug fix: didn't always choose correct Name/QTH field when writing DX4WIN8 output Bug fix: when writing DX4WIN6 format, ADIF log with FREQ_RX field but no FREQ field could crash program Bug fix: missing space between Rx frequency and SerNr Bug fix: when checking the state in NAQP, not a US state message printed wrong (possibly non-existent) ADIF field Change: New ADIF parser (may introduce new bugs, or help identify old ones (like the above) Change: only write unique callsigns (name/QTH) to .DXN file Please let me know if you have any problems with the program or documentation. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] PSK Question
I am using DX4WIN, ver. 6.02. For PSK I use a Rig Blaster Advantage with a built in USB card. In the preferences drop-down, there doesn't seem to be anyway to turn off the audio announcements. Therefore I need to set the computer speakers to mute. Unfortunately to operate PSK, I need audio and as such, I need to turn the computer audio setting back on. Needless to say, when I am operating PSK and there is a call out, the audio call out goes out over the air. How do I get around this problem? I have several QSOs logged on HAMLOG.EU http://hamlog.eu/ but I cannot import them to DX4WIN V. 8.05 even that one generates an ADIF file (extension .adi) ... Any trick how to do it? I would appreciate your help! Re: [Dx4win] IMPORTING from HAMLOG to DX4Win version 8.05 ?
Have you tried to create a adif file and save it to your desk top. Then in dx4win go to file then hit adif then import, export pick import and find the file you just saved on the desktop. that might work it does for me Bob Bob Papa November On 5/27/2014 16:04, Luis Teixeira wrote: I have several QSOs logged on HAMLOG.EU http://hamlog.eu/ but I cannot import them to DX4WIN V. 8.05 even that one generates an ADIF file (extension .adi) ...
