The drive C: is a very restricted device and USER should use for _any_ 
own software installation any of the *program* directories



Most of the drive is restricted and "owner" is Windows.

[Dx4win] Versions Different in Main Window And About Window

Just an observation; My Main Window shows DX4WIN 9.01 My Call and Name but the 
Help> About Window shows Version 9.02.1134. No biggie but there it is. 
Apparently by looking at stuff I am on 9.02

[Dx4win] Digital Mode Configuration Help Needed

I thought it was my Navigator that was having issues.. It is more than
likely a configuration issues. I have installed the 9.02 version already
tonight...

So I am using the US/Timewave Navigator (same device).
Com 4 - CAT control
Com 5 - PTT
Com 6 - WinKey
Com 7 - PSK
Com 8 - RS-232 comport on the Navigator

In DX4Win
Radio tab
Only one radio - FTdx5000 - no issues

Control tab
Rotor - Green Heron - Com 3
PSK Sound Card
Input/output - Navigator RX/TX

CW Tab
Device - Winkey
External Keyer - Com 6
Cw/PTT - none

RTTY tab
Type - none
MMTTY - Path set to C:\Ham\MMTTY\MMTTY.EXE

It appears that I can't ge-+t PSK to work. There is NO function keys.
RTTY works via MMTTY
CW is working

For PSK and the FTdx5000, the radio needs to be in Packet Mode. I can hear
the tones from monitor, but I don't see any RF going out.

Any ideas or suggestions??

Dennis,

When you open the Edit Function Keys window, if you check the control keys
box, it will show you macros 11 - 18 (which you access by CTRL-F12 for
example).  Then you can edit number 18, which you can call from within
other macros by using the %18 function.

Yes, I know how to get to and Edit the function keys.  %18 is a macro to send 
“your name” and “Your QTH”, which should be Dennis and Lakeville MN, but, 
instead its sending Paul and Occoquan, Virginia.

The "Fresh Install" also has all the data file updates that I released
on October 30.  Note that you can get these through Help | Check for
Update.  In other words, there is no need to do a fresh install of
9.02 *just* to get the data file updates.

Also note that you will no longer be prompted to update (download) the
Sample log, if you have deleted it.
