[Dx4win] DX4WIN country file errors for DX4WIN9 users
Zoran, WA7AA, was kind enough to point out some DX4WIN9 country file errors. These errors are not present for DX4WIN8 and earlier users. 1. CR140AA should be Azores, CU and not Portugal, CT 2. None of the 2R, GR or MR calls used during the 2018 Royal Wedding special event, that were not used from England, are not in the country file. An example is MR0CCE from GD, Isle of Man. I will try to post a new release this weekend to correct these problems. If there are other errors that people noticed, please let me know as soon as possible. - Jim -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN failed to start - Bug report is available - Need advice
Hi I had the same "fail to start" symptoms and discovered why (it may not be the same reason as others encountered though). I am logging on two separate PC:s (two QTHs) and therefore sometimes copy the most recent log manually from PC1 to PC2. Last night, on PC1, I had manually made a country exception for one logged station. I then moved the updated log over to PC2. On PC2, DX4WIN failed to start with the externally updated log. If I however manually make the same country exception on PC2, it starts OK. 73 /Mats, SM3LGO __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY country file Release #18.8 - 11 July 2018
> http://www.country-files.com/dx4win-cty-18.8-11-july-2018/ For DX4WIN9 users, I have added a number of callsigns that will be active in the RSGB IOTA (Islands on the Air) contest at the end of July: https://ng3k.com/Misc/iota2018.html Logging these callsigns during the contest period (28-29 July 2018) should result in the IOTA field in the QSO being populated correctly. This is probably the last country file release until August unless there is a flurry of IOTA announcements before the end of the month. I still do not have a method for including, in the release notes, IOTA changes to the country file. Maybe I'll have something in August. Here's an unformatted list of the additions in this country file release (not all entries below are related to the IOA contest): CALL,START,END,IOTA 5P5CW,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU030 9A/OM2ZZ,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU170 9A8CV,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU136 9M4IOTA,2018/09/15,2018/09/17,AS073 AN1WHC,2018/06/29,2018/07/01,EU080 D44EK,2018/07/23,2018/08/07,AF086 DL5KVV/P,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU129 E2X,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,AS107 ES3V,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU034 F/OO4O,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU032 F5OHH/P,2018/04/20,2018/04/20,EU064 F5OHH/P,2018/06/22,2018/06/22,EU064 G7O,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU120 GM/DH5JBR/P,2018/06/13,2018/06/26,EU008 GM/DH5JBR/P,2018/06/27,2018/07/02,EU010 GM0WED,2003/04/22,,EU009 GS8VL,2018/01/01,2018/01/31,EU010 GS8VL,2018/06/01,2018/06/30,EU009 IM0/I0PNM,2018/07/20,2018/08/20,EU165 IQ3ME/P,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU131 J49A,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU087 JA4GXS/6,2018/10/13,2018/10/15,AS032 JI3DST/5,2018/06/22,2018/06/26,1675,, K2QMF,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,NA026 K3Y,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,NA062 K4Z,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,NA067 LA/CT1BWW,2018/07/30,2018/08/10,EU076 LA/IK3GES,2018/07/03,2018/07/03,EU076 LA6KOA,2018-03-14,,EU046 LC5C,2018-06-22,,EU046 M1K,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU011 MM0JTV,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU010 MM2M,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU123 MN0GKL,2018-07-08,2018-07-08,EU122 N9EAJ,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,NA055 OH3AD/5,2018/07/17,2018/08/17,EU140 PA/F4FET,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU146 PA6IOT,2018/07/27,2018/08/03,EU038 PI4AMF/P,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU146 PS1S,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,SA077 SD7V,2018/07/01,2018/07/03,EU037 SD7V/1,2018/07/04,2018/07/09, SD7V/5,2018/07/10,2018/07/13,EU084 SM/G3VYI,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU020 SM6/IK3GES,2018/06/28,2018/06/29,EU043 SN0RX,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU132 SV8/OM2FY,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU052 TM6N,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,EU064 VE1FA/KL7,2018-07-05,2018-07-10,NA121 VE1YL/KL7,2018-07-05,2018-07-10,NA121 VE7DP/7,2010/08/20,2010/08/22,NA061 VE7DP/7,2010/08/26,2010/08/28,NA118 VE7DP/7,2015/06/18,2015/06/21,NA181 VI70MI,2018/06/12,2018/08/31,150,, VK3DRH/4,2018/07/05,2018/07/11,OC187 W4MY,2018/07/28,2018/07/29,NA067 WB8YJF/4,2018/07/22,2018/07/29,NA067 ZS9V,2018/08/17,2018/08/20,AF064 -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] Dx4win] DX4WIN Support
Glad you got your problem solved Alan. I have been using Dx4Win since version 6.xxx and it has proven to be one of the most stable programs I have ever used. Paul certainly has done his homework. Very powerful but easy to use. I would never change logging programs. 73 Bruce WD4LBR --- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. https://www.avg.com __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
