Thanks for info on win4yaesu, I was reading about it and downloaded the com0com program it needs and turns out that's all I needed. Both programs are workin great! Hi dick Just try virtual serial port emulator, you can use the same comport with more than one program. Hi Dick, You can run both at the same time if you purchase the Yaesu version of Win4k3suite software. Actually, you can run up to 4 programs at once by downloading virtual comport software like COM0COM and running that with the Win4yaesusuite software. It works very well - I have a K3s and have that version. You might also like the Win4yaesuite software as there are many interesting features. Hope you are doing well. I can run them side by side (DX4WIN and WSJT-X) on the screen but here 's the catch. Since they both must use the same port (in my case COM 6) for CAT control of the rig one must be "off" and the other on. DX4WIN has a way to take the CAT offline. In the upper left menu see RADIO and scroll down to STOP RADIO. WSJT can then remain on CAT control on the right side of my screen. So DX4WIN and WSJT are both on the screen but DX4WIN is not on CAT control so they don't conflict. Unfortunately, the opposite is not true. WSJT has no way to turn off the CAT control. Therefore, I must shut down WSJT completely and turn the CAT control back on for DX4WIN. Wish WSJT had a way to stay running and turn off the CAT control (like I can do on DX4WIN) but it doesn't. Is what it is. Hi Dick, I use Win4K3Suite to run multiple programs at the same time using the same com port. I think there is also a version for Yaesu.
