[Dx4win] power outages

2007-04-08 Thread David McAulay
Hi All

I have been also caught on this over the years, these days while running a
pile or
a casual local qso i still have to habit of (control -S) on the keyboard
after 2 or 3 qso's
which saves the data to the drive rather than being still in buffer memory.

Happy Easter, may the bunny bring you 59 to N8S

[Dx4win] Any suggestions please

2006-01-31 Thread David McAulay
Hi all

I have a ft1000mp and using dx4win ver 4.07 (no need for all the new stuff
as im only a ssb and cw op)

I have the radio hooked up to the computer and the CAT in the radio works
very well im also connected to the cluster system via telnet within dx4win

I see a spot i need and click on it the radio qsy's ok
except when i use cw on 40, 80, and 160mx bands
the radio changes freq all ok but instead of the FT1000mp displaying CW-LSB
it reads CW-USB in other words im on the reverse CW mode if that makes
sense.???

Any suggestions please on how i might fix this.. AND MAKE THE RADIO DEFAULT
TO THE CORRECT MODE.?

Thank you

Geo. 5B4AGC asked:

Can anyone help me with the settings in DX4WIN for use with the VE7CC software
please.

Using a text editor (WRITE or NOTEPAD), edit the DX4WIN.TCP file in your SAVE
directory.

At the top, create this entry:

5B4AGC,localhost:7300

Then save the file.

Next time you try to connect to a TELNET node, pick the first entry, and you'll
be connected to the VE7CC software automatically.
