The new FTdx101 firmware has a bug in handling the mode command (at least
"get mode").  If DX4Win is using MD0;/MD1; to read mode of VFO A and VFO B,
it will not be able to read mode.  I have not been able to confirm if the
problem extends to setting mode.

Recommendation: until Yaesu release a fix, revert to the previous version of
the (CAT) firmware.
