Just a note on the callsign change requirement: there have been a few times I have been thankful for the quiet little "are you sure you want to do this?" prompt when changing a callsign. Everything else may just be noise, but the callsign is primary. That is why I never let that particular little feature bother me. As for migrating that particular feature to contesting loggers like WriteLog, I don't think that particular idea would get very far. Contesting loggers are built for speed where people count keystrokes and bit rates. Anything that would add to either one would be frowned upon. I change the EZ to EC and tab over to verify that correct country, zone, etc., is filled in, but when I hit enter to save the changes nothing happens. Once again, all other edits work just fine. What am I missing on this particular QSO? There is a little quirk to DX4WIN that when you change a callsign you must hit F10 or scan down the QSO tab to UPDATE QSO. Hitting ENTER or RETURN won't save the new callsign like it will for other changes. Like you I made mistakes in my WriteLog CQWWDX SSB log. Think I copied OK but typed call wrong.
