Re: [Dx4win] Challenge Spots
I surely am not a programmer, but would it be possible to link the priority through the Awards? Then you could set it up for any Awardsuch as the Challenge to accomplish this desired result. With the Challenge gaining in popularity ( Most Old Dxers have attained DXCC, WAS, WAZ, etc.) and since most are addicted with the incurable Ham-O- Holic Virus, and ARRL is linking the Challenge to LOTW...the numbers of Challenge Chasers is immense. This would be a great feature in DX4WIN. Thanks, Val N4RJ An Incurable Ham-0-Holic. I invented the term in the 60s. For example, I just started chasing RTTY countries, so that mode is not confirmed on any band with any country. But if a DX spot appears for a country that I have worked on one band, but not on another band, it still is always priority 4. Since I know it will be awhile before I get the confirmations, I would love to temporarily swap priority levels 4 and 5. 73, John K9EL -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Kostas Stamatis Sent: Monday, November 07, 2011 10:33 AM To: REFLECTOR dx4win Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Challenge Spots Yes you have right. This way (deactivating ssb) you will not see an ssb qso you need for a band slot. I don't know a solution. I didn't undertand it ok. You want ssb qsos but only for new band slots not for new mode. Beside this the most important is that dx4win gives priority to the mode and not to the band. If a qso is new mode (ssb) and new band also, you will see new mode (not interesting for you) but there is no way to know that is a new band. So you need to change priorites. I don't think this can be done but it's useful for sure. Paul, can we define cluster priorities in the next version? For example if i need the new band to be number 2 and new mode a grey spot, etc... 73 Kostas sv1dpi - Original Message - From: Hugh Valentine hsv...@juno.com To: DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Sent: Monday, November 07, 2011 2:34 PM Subject: [Dx4win] Challenge Spots I have tried most everything I can think of to solve this, maybe someone can help me.
