Hi, folks-

Sorry to ask about what is likely a common problem, but I'm completely stumped
over creating a group.

I'm using 6.04; my Selection and Edit Group Names options under "Filter" for my
log (I only have one .dxl file that stores everything) are grayed out. I've
read the help file to no avail.

Since I've moved to Connecticut, I'd like to subdivide my log to groups before
and after the move. Here's the rub; I'm a VHF'er as well as a DX'er; I track
both grid squares and countries.

DXCC rules state a QSO counts as long as you're in the same country. VUCC rules
state that QSOs only count if you stay within 200 KM of your main QTH. As I've
moved to CT, I have to start collecting grids all over again.

I'm looking for a way to group my QSO's so that my grid totals are tracked
separately between Illinois and CT, but my DXCC totals on VHF are still lumped
together. Is this possible? If so, how would I do it?

Thanks!
