even then if you work the station no freq ends up in notes for this call. I
was hoping in DX4W805 this would get fixed again but it didn't make the cut.

I just did a quick look back in my log and it appears that when we got the
new freq field DX4W stopped recording the split in the log. I'm using the
 FT-1KMP MK5 and DX4W805 with Windows 7 64 bit.  I put out a query on the
reflector a few weeks back but got no response then either.

Wayne, if your radio is in split mode, and you try ALT-A to announce a
spot, is the QSX frequency filled in?

[Dx4win] ft-2000 rig control

2011-02-17 Thread Steve K7AWB
Me bad; I did not have the RTS and other one marked. Once I did that, it
works fine although it only shows the transmit frequency. During split, I
would like to record both, transmit and receive, but I don't see a place
that that would automatically be recorded to. This manual recording is for
the birds. In a fast moving contest or just Summer 6 meter Es, one needs to
work them before they disappear into the QSB. Thanks for the help.

The only radio I have owned that allowed DX4WIN to read both VFOs
during split operation was a Kenwood. My Icom does not and I don't
know about Yaesu.

What version of DX4WIN? I'm pretty sure that Yaesu supports reading
the split (Tx) frequency.

Did you make sure to go to Contest Mode from the QSO logging window,
and put $$ inside the Text to add to QSO note field?

[Dx4win] FT-2000 Rig Control

2007-06-12 Thread George Rickley
Hello All..

I've installed the FT-2000 driver, but a short time after either using
Start Radio or just clicking on a spot I get

Radio Timed Out

Radio Interface Has Been Disabled

In Help the only reference to Interface is the CW keyer interface.

Anyone know what I am or am not doing? To my knowledge I'm doing just what I
always did with DX4WIN with my other radios.

Thanks in Advance,

George K1MA
