Re: [Dx4win] lotwreport.adi Importation

2022-06-21 Thread Luc
Thank you very much Rick.
It is possible that it is that, that every time the app shows new
downloads, it takes that date.
I'll check.
Thank you very much and have a nice day.

Re: [Dx4win] lotwreport.adi Importation

2022-06-20 Thread Rick Murphy
Luc,
I think this is a side effect of your use of LoTW Look - it is periodically
downloading your QSOs so when you go back to LoTW to do your own downloads,
LoTW defaults to the date of the last time the App pulled your ADIF details.

You'll need to keep track of your last QSL download date separately and use
that (back-dated a few days) when downloading for DX4WIN.

Re: [Dx4win] lotwreport.adi Importation

2022-06-20 Thread Luc
Thanks Zoran,
it should be like you tell me, but unfortunately it does not.
It does not maintain the date of the last import, but every time I ask for
a report, the current default date appears, and I have checked on several
computers.
I just wanted if this happens to more colleagues, or only to me.
Greetings.

When you go to Download Report in the LOTW, the date in the "Show QSLs
received since:" auto-fills with the date of your last LOTW report
download. In theory, all the LOTW QSLs before that date should already
be confirmed in your log, and all the QSLs after that date should be new
confirmations. In practice, however, somehow that doesn't work 100% and

I usually backdate the default date by a week and that works out fine.
DX4Win ignores the already confirmed QSOs anyway and you're good to go.

[Dx4win] lotwreport.adi Importation

2022-06-20 Thread Luc
A few months ago, I exposed this problem with the importation of the
Lotwreport.adi file to Dx4win.
Normally my app for Android, LoTW look, tells me if I have any new
confirmation via Lotw.
I have verified today that I have 5 entities in a new band, for example:
7Z1VD 12 M.
OY1R 12 m
3D2RRR in 15 and 17 M.
KL7KK in 17 m
I have gone to the page: https://lotw.arrl.org
Your QSO
Download Report (I leave the field of the default date, which comes the
current day)
Your Callsign -> Any
And I keep the file.

Then from DX4WIN, in the Menu LoTW, Import LoTW, and charge the file
Lotwreport.adi and when observing, the previous callsign, do not appear
confirmed (7Z1VD, OY1R, 3D2RRR, KL7KK).

I have repeated the operation again, at https://lotw.arrl.org, but now,
instead of leaving the default date field, I have put 2020-01-01
And it has taken a while to process the information but in the end the
following information has come out:
223 LOTW Confirmions
6714 QSOS were Previous Confirm
2 Confirmed Qsos were not found in the log.

Therefore, I have verified that if the report is generated by the current
date, which comes by default, there is no confirmation, I must download a
report with anterior date, 1 or 2 years before for the QSO to be confirmed.
I think this does not happen to everyone, only to me.
What am I doing wrong?

Greetings.
