Sounds great. I've also verified that tuxmath 2.0.3-8 runs as expected on Ubuntu Impish. Based on that and the resolved Debian report, we can say this has been fixed. If anyone needs a fix for this bug in older Ubuntu releases, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention. However, for this bug I found a trick, that is, to install tuxmath package from the next Ubuntu release, Impish Indri. It works on Hirsute without issues I reported above.
