Additional packages :

* Fedora 18: seems official now
cf. http://www.spinics.net/lists/fedora-package-announce/msg93774.html

* Ubuntu PPA (not tested, WARNING: this PPA includes tons of stuff and
some are low level, be *very* careful using it!):

 Building from sources (of course you have instructions in our wiki...) :
 * Linux from scratch:
 http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/cvs/xsoft/ekiga.html
 Binaries: (Warning: I've no clue how good those packages are...)
 * OpenSuse
 http://software.opensuse.org/package/ekiga

I use this one; but it installs Ekiga 3.3.x, not 4.x [which sounds
great, BTW].

ekiga-plugins-gstreamer-3.3.2-2.1.2.i586
ekiga-lang-3.3.2-2.1.2.noarch
ekiga-3.3.2-2.1.2.i586
ekiga-plugins-evolution-3.3.2-2.1.2.i586

openSUSE 12.2

The entry listed at
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Installing_Ekiga_on_Linux is obsolete
for openSUSE.

It appears that Factory (openSUSE) has 3.9.x
