[Elecraft] Configuring DXLabs Suite, Win4K3 and K3 for FT8 etc.
I'm interested in getting my feet wet in WSJT digital modes, but don't know how to configure my K3, DXLabs Suite and Win4K3 to do this. I've checked the K3 manual, Fred Cady's more detailed K3 book and poked around the DXLabs and Win4K3 sites, but don't see how to get started. Can anyone direct me to a good source(s) of information on this? 73, /Brian K8GRR/ __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
Re: [Elecraft] HD8R
Check out when the first contact is 26/10/2021 They are using the European date style (day / month / year). With that in mind, the last contact in the log is 8-Nov-2021. I did a double take on the dates, before I figured out what they were doing. I'm in the log for a contact yesterday (ATNO) - but not my contact during the CQ WW SSB contest. -Original Message- From: elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Wes Sent: Monday, November 8, 2021 3:57 PM To: elecraft@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Elecraft] HD8R According to their online log their last QSO was 08/11/2021@ 0237. Re: [Elecraft] K2 new kit question
James, It is not likely to be a problem, but check any that are on the bottom. If they are too high to clear the bottom cover, just bend them over a bit. Replace the ones with the cracked bodies. 73, Don W3FPR On 11/8/2021 11:25 AM, JAMES GUNNOE wrote: Good morning everyone. Do you all think the way I installed them is going to be an issue? And how would I be able to tell if it is a issue? Re: [Elecraft] 2nd RX Removal
Many instructions for options, such as filters, include directions on how to temporarily remove the second RX. To permanently revive it, you would need the instructions for the second RX installation and reverse it. You would need to find all the odds and ends including the back plate to completely reverse it. Re: [Elecraft] K2 new kit question
Don't straighten them! Back about a hundred years ago when I built my K2 #725, I caused an invisible open circuit failure in one of those capacitors as a result of straightening the leads. It wasn't easy to find. Don't do what I did. 73, Victor, 4X6GP Rehovot, Israel CWops #5 Formerly K2VCO https://www.qsl.net/k2vco/ 73, Victor, 4X6GP Rehovot, Israel CWops #5 Formerly K2VCO https://www.qsl.net/k2vco/ On 08/11/2021 18:25, JAMES GUNNOE wrote: Good morning everyone.
