Good Evening,

The rainy season began early this year; the last week was chilly, foggy, and wet.  The sun returned today highlighting new color changes.  With temperatures dropping to the mid 30s some shrubs are getting ready for winter.  Some crows were ridge soaring over me today.  With their slender wings they can't hang in one place very long.  They made multiple passes instead.

The solar forecast is for calm and steady conditions.  I expect thunder storms to modify that prediction.  But low QSB would be nice.  The skies will be clear for a few days so no local lightning.  The rain has cleared the air.  I just noticed I am not smelling burning forest.  Cooler weather helps the fire fighters get ahead of their quarry.
