Good Evening,

It was partly sunny and cool all week.  Currently it is windy.  My view is much greener.  More flowers but no hummingbirds at the feeder.  It has stopped snowing so they should show up soon.  The daffodils are all open with a few trilliums here and there.

The ionosphere is still be shaking after the pounding it took from yesterday's CME.  A large sunspot group is sending a lot of ions our way.  It is not as strong as it was the last time it showed up.  Still mixed field groupings but it has lost some of its vigor.  I expect noise and QSB to test our mettle.

I was reading about stellarator design when I learned the coordinate system of a torus.  One axis is called toroidal while the other is called poloidal.  Just in case you ever need to describe an exact point on a torus.  Then I thought about how it would work in Scrabble: id - oloid - poloid - poloidal  A good, additive series.
