[Elecraft] QRPworks will be at Hamvention
QRPworks is happy to let you know that after a 2-year absence we will be at Hamvention 2023 with our new SideKar Decoder Edition. The SideKar Decoder Edition is based on the SideKar Extreme but now has a built-in CW decoder added. The SideKars have always worked closely with the KX & K-line and built upon the CW/PSK/RTTY decoding done, but for rigs that don't have built-in CW decoding, all you need to do is feed the Decoder Edition audio from your rig...any rig, like a K2, KX1, etc. So, in addition to the usual features of sending with a wireless keyboard or paddle, sending 20 user-defined messages, creating and executing rig macros (via CAT), and logging with ADIF export, incoming CW will be displayed on its 80-character, sunlight readable screen with the ability to freeze and scroll back. FYI, currently rigs with a CAT interface to the SideKar Decoder Edition include the Elecraft KX2/KX3/K3/K3s, Icom IC-705 (via a new Bluetooth accessory), Yaesu FT-817/818, QRP Labs QCX family of rigs, and the Xiegu G90. We'll be in Building 2, booth 2804 (in one of the corners). 73, Shel KF0UR & Steve KB3SII www.QRPworks.com __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com

[Elecraft] KX2/KX3 and SideKar Plus
Hi Joe, Let us know if you have any question about the SideKar Plus. It was specifically made to enhance your RTTY, PSK, and CW experience when using the KX2 or KX3. Plus the messaging and logging features are great when portable. I used them extensively for my 5300+ NPOTA portable QSOs. 73, Shel KF0UR QRPworks, LLC www.QRPworks.com --- Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2019 16:23:36 -0500 From: "Joseph Trombino, Jr" To: Elecraft Subject: [Elecraft] KX2/KX3 and SideKar Plus Howdy Gang. Re: [Elecraft] K3S's built-in RTTY
Hi Don, If you're not using a PC, another option you have is to use the QRPworks K-Board. It was made exactly for this operation. You can send RTTY, PSK, or CW with a wireless or wired keyboard. You can send 20 messages or macros to control the rig. 200 named messages / macros can be defined in named groups of 20 (Field Day, NAQP, etc.) using the provided Message Management Utility. The manual is online at www.qrpworks.com <http://www.qrpworks.com> . Click on Support. And if you want to see the incoming text on a bigger screen, the SideKar is available. 73, Shel KF0UR QRPworks Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2017 22:42 :43 -0500 From: Don Pomplun mailto:radioprincegeo...@gmail.com> > To: elecraft@mailman.qth.net <mailto:elecraft@mailman.qth.net> Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3S's built-in RTTY Message-ID: <783ef942-b574-3c0a-f2d0-49d3877a1...@gmail.com <mailto:783ef942-b574-3c0a-f2d0-49d3877a1...@gmail.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252; format=flowed I'm hoping that I can use the K3S sound card hardware & PC software for the receive side, and use the paddle CW interface as the transmit side.
