Re: [Elecraft] Direct mounting an AX1 to a T1 ATU?
I currently prefer using the tripod mount (on a small tabletop tripod) instead of the bipod legs, and slipping a T1 in-line would work well with that. I was inspired by the stand provided with my new SWL handheld that was routed out of a hockey puck - it got me thinking about a way of avoiding a jumper by creating a stand. 73 - Ken Ford W9LSL -- Sent from: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/ __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
[Elecraft] Direct mounting an AX1 to a T1 ATU?
I’m considering using my AX1 with a few other small QRP rigs that do not have internal tuners like my KX-3. Has anyone tried direct mounting an AX1 to a T1, and using a stand to hold it all upright? I’m thinking simple and fast picnic table portable ops for short lunchtimes... Thanks! Re: [Elecraft] Adding mini-banana jack counterpoise point to a KX3?
The double binding post adapter isn’t what I have in mind - I’m thinking specifically about use with the AX1 which needs a counterpoise. [Elecraft] Adding mini-banana jack counterpoise point to a KX3?
One of the things I really like about the KX2 is the hole for a mini-banana jack counterpoise connection. Is there any place that could be added on a KX3? The case thumbscrews get cranky at times. Wayne - Here, take my money! ;) Seriously, I’d be very interested in a 6/10/12 version of the AX1. [Elecraft] Looking to borrow or rent a XG50
I’d like to temp compensate my KX3, but I don’t see a XG50 as being something I would need to keep around long term. Re: [Elecraft] SideKX
Good news regarding the interference between the 73CNC replacement tuning knob and the SideKX cover. Per Mike NT8O at 73CNC a new lower cost version of their finger dimple spinner tuning knob is in the works that will clear the SideKX. He is forecasting a release date of Dayton 2014.
